..Its so horrible...what r these ppl trying to show....its horrible...all the men in da house r so terrible...the show is xtremely depressing...

No this show is showing the reality of India. Where so many house wives are burning alive or been killed many ways .But no one knows about the truth of the death . May be so many hidden truth are there like RS

may be...but yesterdays episode was horrifying...

I don't agree w/ any of the above views. This is not the reality of India - people - whether rich or poor - don't try to trick other people into marrying their eunuch offspring, no matter how badly they may treat women. Even more inconceivable is a family allowing, let alone forcing, their bahu to conceive someone else's baby for the sake of calling it their own.

As far as depressing, I agree about Shradhya, but disagree about Sandhya. Shradhya is depressing b'cos she's in an ugly situation, but refuses to move out, despite having that option. But Sandhya is very different. All the days she was tricked, she was outwardly innocent but mentally suspicious of the goings on around her. Finally, she pulled the trick where she found out everything, and now she wants out.

Yeah, Friday's episode was painful to watch, and hopefully, there ain't too many more of these. But while ugly situations arise, how the people confronted w/ that ugliness respond to it is what determines whether it's depressing or not. If a woman - or man - chooses to be a victim and a doormat, then I agree, it's most depressing to watch. But if she chooses to confront it, and even gets hurt in the process, then I don't consider that depressing - I like such gutsy resistance from them. Yeah, it was somewhat painful that neither Sarla nor Suni went to comfort Sandhya despite wanting to, due to fear of Prabha & DK, while Sandhya was lying on the floor. But I think once Neeraj witnesses any of it, that'll be the last straw. I doubt that there is much left in this track, or that Sandhya has many more days left in the Jagirdar house.
