I guess I do know how much innate goodness and strength Sid has, since I stopped watching only after Atul and Anjali disappeared...I couldn't resist watching bits and pieces of SR scenes during the hunt for Armaan, so I have an idea of what happened then. After that, all I know about them is what I've seen from VMs and Nitzie's posts. I think I know what really matters, which is the fact that Sid has always been large-hearted enough to put others' happiness before his own...True, he used to be a brat, but as soon as Riddhima came into his life like a cyclone, he stood up to the challenges that came his way and stood strong. Also, his respect for Shashank during those turbulent days put him in my good books forever! Which boy would do the things Sid has done for Riddhima?

You're so right about Sid resembling Atul in some ways! Sid is one of the most selfless men I know. For me, he is right up there with Shashank, Omi, and Atul. I love all four of them for various reasons - but in essence, they are similar. They all have their weaknesses, but their generosity is overwhelming.

I'm quite enjoying this, you know! 😃 😳

And as usual, amaaazingly said. Sid has a huge selfless heart, a heart filled with all the love in the world. Like you said, he used to be a brat, but his journey from that brattiness to a man of responsibility and integrity has been amazing to watch. I LOVE his interactions with Shashank-there's a lot of mutual affection and respect there. Shashank was the first one who saw the potential in Siddhant, and Sid on his part has never let his faith down.

And yeah, his love for Riddhima, that goes beyond words. He literally put life back into her, he filled her with love and happiness when she was just an empty, broken shell.

And I agree with you-Sid, Atul, Omi and Shashank-they aren't perfect, but they're GOOD men with beautiful hearts. And thats why each one of them is very special to me as well.

Yes, Sid may not be a hero on the conventional sense-he isn't about the big things and the style statements. He can be clumsy, oafish and he makes mistakes. But what makes him a hero is the fact that he's the first one to own up to them when he's wrong and he always, always, puts others' happiness before him. He's strong and truthful and courageous, and its these things that make him a hero.

Riddhima loves Siddhant's honesty and courage, as do we. Who doesn't love somebody who is truthful and honest and kind and strong ? Its the easiest thing in the world to turn your back and run away when things are hard, even though somewhere in your heart you know that you should stay and do the right thing. Siddhant Modi is a man who's always faced his fears head-on, fought them, and he's always, always done the right thing, the good thing. No wonder we love him so.
