I understand the msg and it's great but it is Not my fav film for Kajol.. since she's my fav.. but overall a good movie, SRK was awesome in it, Kajol did a wonderful job.. loved her in every scene.. It really was enjoyable for me coz of her.. and ofcourse SRK! loved Tere naina song, my fav in MNIK!

What didn't you like? I didn't like the 2nd half much. The OTT side of KJo. Honestly Rizwan reaching to help out Mama Jenny and the people of Wilhelmina before the US aid and all was a bit far fetched.. And the whole media involvement.. It was all wayyy OTT.. but that's KJo we're talking about, if he's not OTT, then I'd be surprised.. 😆 Secondly, I had a HUGE problem with the "We shall overcome" song sequence in the church. It was such a sweeeeeet scene when Rizwan talks about Sam.. I was crying through that.. Brilliant acting by SRK.. but when that song came up, I went "WTF!" 😆 Lack of SRK-Kajol scenes was a minus point IMO as well..

Did you like the songs? I loved the songs! They are not that good just for an audio I think.. still decent.. but Sajda, Tere Naina had some damn cute SRK-Kajol moments.. Did I mention I loved SRK-Kajol interactions.. 😆 I mean their whole before marriage scenes as well.. and the scene where she asks him to take Sam to museum.. 😆 Okay back to songs.. Noor-e-Khuda was the BEST song! I loved it! Just listening to it is so good and then the video of this song was just supppper ammazing as well.. Best song of the movie IMO!

Acting? Everyone was brilliant in the movie! SRK was just suuuupppper good! I might be biased but I think Rizwan was his finest role.. The mannerism was very well enacted.. LOVED him, his innocence was very well shown when he asks Mandira when should he return and when he runs looking for her after he's released.. Brilliant! Kajol was very good as well.. The fight between them, and when she cries hugging Sam's body.. Superb acting. Sonia Jehan, Jimmy Shergill, Sam (don't know his name) and every other actor did a great job!

I think it was a fine attempt by KJo, with a good message.. he should just cut back from OTT stuff like the Wilhelmina/hurricane Katrina part..

Edit: I forgot to mention, my most favourite bit, when Mandira proposes Rizwan and he sharmao-fies.. 😆 Megggga cute! Avi credit: nureat01
