Another interesting thing i wanna mention is that when MNIK came out, on facebook my friends like NEVER mention ANY bollywood movies on status/wallposts if though they do watch bollywood movies. MNIK was the ONLY movie i ever saw to be mentioned throughout my homepage LOL & everybody loved it & was proud of it :) That felt good to see. ALL of them are not Indians only, it's like people from worldwide loved it. That was a good feeling :)

I remember absolutely LOVING the first half. The 2nd half got a bit slow. But the SRK-Kajol scenes in the first half were so adorable! Esp. the scene where Mandira proposes and Rizwan gets all shy...soo cute! Kajol looked stunning in that scene with zero makeup on.

SRK was brilliant in the movie. Absolutely loveddd him. He made Rizwan so endearing. Kajol was great but she didn't have a lot to do which sucked. Esp. in the 2nd half, she was barely there. And the movie needed more SRK-Kajol scenes.

It was a good effort, and I remember everyone in my theatre started clapping towards the end. The one complaint I have is that this movie didn't fully utilize SRK-Kajol's chem. I wanted for them to return with a more romantic movie.

i like the movie but not loved it....it was good and totally differnt from karan's pervious work....so welldone on that....

srk stole the show for me...he was mesmerizing as rizwan...he so deserve the best actor award....kajol was good tooo....but for me not her best.....loved the jodi together they are treat for viewers like me...huge fan....the songs were ok....nothing extra ordinary..... i like sajda and tere naina

Same here, i liked the film, did'nt luv it...considering the hype the movie generated, the end product wasn't tat convincing for me....

the only problem i had with the film was tat i felt it was too stretched wen it cud be edited, n the portions which needed to be stretched (SRK-Kajol scenes) were edited....

a KJo film always has a feel gud factor attached to it, this film being no different, be it Rizwans relation with his mom, his teacher, then his bhabhi, his longing for his bro's luv, n ofcourse interaction with Mandira n the kid....i even liked SRK's interaction with momma Jenny....

the scene where Mandira cries when she loses her child was too gud...trust Kajol with such scenes n she will make sure tat the result is delivered...

my fav SRK-Kajol scene was wen Rizwan wakes Kajol early in the morning to show her a view in San Fransico (a place or view she never saw), n then Mandira proposes Rizwan, n he blushes😳😳😳, it was so sweet...even the scenes where Rizwaan follows Mandira with his handycam n keeps ranting, 'Marry Me' was really cute...

thumbs up to the kid who potrayed Rizwaans childhood version...he was too gud...👏👏...

SRK was awesome....Kajol was gud, but under utilised...however i truly felt this film should have focussed more of SRK-Kajol, than the hurricane or unity lecture sequences...my opinion...

i dunno whether SRK will get an award for this film, however for me he Rocked...so did Kajol!!!!

MNIK is a hit, not a superhit, and definately not a film a SRK-Kajol fanatic like me wud drool over....

anyways, the music- i liked Sajda n Tere Naina....noore Khuda is a hummable song....i wud rate the film 3/5....

Lets start off with what you liked about the movie?

First of all, I loved this film because it was a difficult topic to look at and I think this has to be one of the best films I've seen, all the actors acted so well and I wasn't disappointed at all with the film I loved every single minute. I enjoyed the film so much I can watch it all the time, Noor e Khuda is one of my favourite songs and everytime I looked at Shahrukh Khan's acting I started crying because it looked so realistic.

Did you like the songs? Acting?

I loved the songs, Sajda was fantastic, this song has been played at weddings I've gone to, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan sung the song beautifully. I think Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy did a fantastic job with the music and I enjoyed the music. Tere Naina was another song I loved because Shafqat Amanat Ali did an amazing job I particulary liked the second half of the song and finally Noor e Khuda was mindblowing I love this song because it talks about God and this helped me think about Allah even more.

The acting was superb, fantastic, amazing, brilliant etc etc, I could go on because Shahrukh Khan was brilliant, he really made me believe he had autism it was such a natural performance. Kajol was fantastic I think this has to be one of her best performances till date, I enjoyed watching her back with Shahrukh after so long and again they had fantastic chemistry, I loved the little kid who played Kajol's son. Jimmy Shergill was amazing in the film as well even though it wasn't a lot he did well and surprisingly Sonya Jehan was good as well.

The movie was strictly okay but not bad nevertheless. I'm glad SRK atleast attempted to do something differenet after all the years of Raj lover boy roles.

Kjo gets carried away with melodrama, he exhagerates every emotion whether its love, pain, sorrow, motherly affection etc.

and I also agree with others about Kajol, she was strictly average in the movie, music was disappointing.

However it was not a waste of money. Give me MNIK over duds like Love Story, DBH anyday.

Well I LOVED the first half. But second half got really slow and dragged. Plus They tried to make Rizwan too much of a superhero. The hurricane Katrina stuff was totally unnecessary.

I though SRK was really good. I LOVED Rizwan! And he has some amazingly cute dialogues. Loved them! Especially when he blushed when Kajol proposed to him--OMG it was soo adorable!

I thought Kajol was really good too but her role wasn't amazing. I felt like she got the short end of the stick.

Wanted more SRK-Kadz scenes though.

I REALLY liked the movie, much better than many otehrs this year especially because it was my most awaited movie of the year!

I was excited about this movie, SRK and Kajol are one of my favorite pairings and they did not disappoint. The music was good, I love Sajda and Tere Naina. Overall, I enjoyed the movie, it was definately different from previous SRK and Kajol films but in a good way.

my 2 lovesss reunited after 8 years by my fav director..haii...i miss waitin for the film n goin crazy about every single info,still,promo that came out.lol!heart the film.rizwan khan is LOVE.....mandira is gorgeously stunning.mt fav scene is the football field scene....thats some intensity right there.the way mandira takes out all her pent up frustration on him....and the way rizwan is all innocent n clueless about what he has done wrong. heartbreaking.

but its a not a flawless film though.i didnt relate to the hurricane katrina thingy n rizwan being the saviour.i mean thats a lil too much n exaggerated.they should have had more of the rizwan-,mandira scenes in the second half.their unusual relationship is the plus point of the film.

It's an okay film. I think if I wasn't Muslim I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much as I have because I felt that I could relate to the film because of my religion. I thought SRK's acting was amazing. Kajol was okay. The only song i liked was Sajda.
