I know this may seem a silly topic, but I just had to make it. 😆
Why always America?!! 😕 In so many of Ekta's shows, why do characters have to become NRIs? Even in reality, I've noticed some desi people just want to move abroad and are always wanting to find a better standard of life in places like America. Yes, places like America and England can have better job prospects and a better life, but that doesn't mean we can't live a reasonably happy and successful life back home in India. Shekhar built up success in India, did he not? Maybe if, as a nation, your country has failed, then you would want to look for a better future elsewhere- but there is nothing wrong with India itself, it is a developed country, there are many prospects there.
Many of you are going to say that Anurag going abroad is part of the plot of the show, but that's not what I'm getting at. What I'm getting at is why this is shown so much on TV, especially Balaji. In real life, it is very difficult to move to places like America- first of all, getting a visa does not happen at the click of your fingers, second the environment and culture is completely opposite. Often people living there don't accept you straight away, it takes time to fit in. (Maybe this is why Anurag finds solace in Nupur? Maybe he is called the 'fat kid from India' and finds support in Nupur and begins developing feelings for her?)
Anyway, that's me getting another thing off my chest! 😆😆😆
