There are serials worse than this in tamil. I have in fact shifted our TV to my father-in-law's room (since he is a serial addict and there seems to be no rehab centre for this) from the living room so that I could be spared of all the nonsense dialogues in these serials. I have stopped watching uttaran and read only updates. The recent updates are good with headings for segment. Sometimes I dont even read the content if the heading conveys it all. BTW, there was a huge promotion for tamil uttaran around the city before it started being aired. Big hoardings and posters of little ichcha alone and with damini all over the city and life size cut outs of sparsh at city centre mall.

BTW, I am wondering how the bride swapping fit the tamil uttaran, since the ghoonghat practice is not there in tamil marriages? Would they say that ichcha and taps are tamilians but Veer is a north indian and hence the wedding takes place in groom's tradition?
