Yes they are doing a great job, but I believe the marking system was set by Gajji. To me jodi is both singing to fight for their position in the competition - when one sings and the other doesn't is not really a team effort.Originally posted by: bambooshoot
You are right in a way Awww. But at the same time, the stronger singer may suffer because of the weaker singer and may get eliminated early. The concept of jodi is such, and is unavoidable. I think that they came up with this concept as the Pakistani children would be at a disadvantage compared to their Indian counterparts. First of all, being away from your home country at such a young age is not easy. In the first episodes most of them sung sufi type songs which is more within their comfort zone. But as the competition progresses, they may be singing more of mainstream Bollywood songs. These children can learn from each other. Not only singing, but each other's cultures and their style of living. It's a good concept and the judges are doing a great job. I just hope that it remains this way and no politics creeps in.
