Entering bollywood is not easy. You need to have the right connections or be a star kid. T.V. stars have not done too well in films except SRK. Rajeev Khandelwal is slowly making a mark in the offbeat movies but still has not got a break in the mainstream movies. Among the girls Prachi Desai has got a few good breaks, but it is an uphill task for anyone. Guru has his strong fan base in the small screen so even if the large screen does not accept him, the small screen is always there.

if guru had a father in the form of rakesh roshan or Yash chopra not only Hritik but he can give tough competition to all others too.....

but movies happen with luck, being so talented guru is on TV , example, Rajeev still struggling in bollywood, some non-talented , not good looking manage to debut in bollywood, like Uday Chopra ( hope there is no uday fan here 😆 ) also luv sinha and many more examples

i so agree!!! I feel some not so talented actors get chance after chance after chance and so many talented actors don't get the same opportunity b/c they don't have connections...so unfair!!!

I'm sure GC will be huge star b/c unlike same other popular TV stars...not only if he hot, handsome, and a heartthrob...but he knows how to ACT and expressive emotion effortless!!! Plus he's one of those guys that would look good w/anyone...he's has a manly face..not a boyish one...does that make sense??!!

Gurmeet can be both. A chocolate hero or a rough and tough like Maan. He is gifted with such a feature that he can be moulded in any role. He can play with his looks and expressions. We have seen him as caring, humble in his real life in PPAW, which is chocolate hero image. In Mayavi and Geet, he has portrayed tough look.
