Yesterday's episode was according to me a bit balanced.
Romance
We could see Simi all beautiful and gorgeus and shown willing and wanting Abhi after his return.
Abhi returning in a good mood in spite of the bad mood that he left, making the house all lively by his infectious enthusiasm, a total romantic with gifts and roses for his wife, naughtiness at teasing Simi and ignoring her desire to be kissed.
Love and Care
Simi realising Mili wants to make that kheer for Abhi and in trying to assert her love for Abhi she ends up in a small scuffle for winning the situation over but in the process hurts herself.
Abhi's concern for Simi when her hand got burnt, quick anger and irritation at Mili when she seems to care about the kheer and questions her what if anything happened to Simi and taking her away when she wants to clean the mess immediately.
Mature talk between a couple
Don't know how far Simi will remain firm in her claim to trust Abhi. But the dialogues were good. This serious talk finally happened. Simi raising her concern and letting Abhi know that Mili might be having a softcorner for him, requesting him not to get angry and asking him not to brush her thoughts aside, that she is serious.
Abhi reassuring her that there would be nothing else that would matter to him beyond a certain point other than Simi even if it was her own little sister. Abhi telling Simi that he would not do something if Simi is not wanting him to do that and still trying to tell her that Mili needs help and support and that they should not deny that. It showed he is willing to help her out and make her understand even if Mili is making a mistake because he felt that being older to Mili he is responsible and Mili may just be looking up to him that way.
When the realty sets in for Abhi
Abhi's straight forward thinking showed in the way he just talks to Mili and comes and announces to Simi that Mili is doing fine. Simi is understanding and probably its her thoughtfulness in saying that its not that easy to fathom women's feelings. Her smile indicated at Abhi's immaturity regarding such issues but still trying and an actual wanting from her heart to believe that things are actually fine concerning this issue.
Abhi is enjoying sneaking into the No entry zone for Mehendi, is wanting to enjoy the proceedings the way he is all willing to return and stay back when Simi calls him back, all helpful to get what simi asked for, messing up with Mehendi and that senseless clean up making it more worse, and the shock at finding the torn picture at Mili's bed, the precap shows his despair when the reality is sinking in in his mind about the whole situation.
The New Mili
To me Mili is not realising and is confused between the emotional dependance she has with Abhi and her so called love initially with Vishal. In a section of Indian household, when the son gets married, mothers find the daughter in law as a threat in her love towards her son. That situation does not carry a sexual overtone. I would prefer the same scenario here where Mili did not have a problem with her sister as long as she did not question her closeness with Abhi. When that comfort in seeking Abhi's help and understanding is forcibly restricted, she is behaving with irritation. She seems to and is trying to move on in life but it just that it does not seem to help her and she is but going through a real bad phase. Well like Abhi said, he should make her realise what actually Abhi is for her and bring out her own thought about what she is actually feeling about him in a way looking up to him like a friend, philosopher and guide. But this scenario is expected only if it's some serious thinking from the writers/producers/directors.
Will writers or mainly the orthodox and backward thinking channel help in such serious and mature issue is all but another dream. I am sure this will never get them their required TRPs if they are targeting the real "AUDIENCE" for this show to be aired soon at 7 PM when even the cats and dogs don't return home after their play time.
