Does anyone else wonder whether the title means that Geet will also become estranged eventually from Maan? I mean, he's like her saviour when she is in trouble. But what about when she is NOT in trouble? Does the title mean that she will eventually just be on her own with her baby? And that Maan will be like a black-code security force that will appear when there is need?

Just asking.

Hmm, th etitle does suggest at that doesn't it? But then if Geet was to be all on her on, why was she givena taveez that was meant for her lifepartner... Unless Maan and Geet never get married....and he staysas a friend to her forever....but happening in India is highly unlikely due to Indian culture.

Par sachi mein tumne darra diya hai.....😕 even I'm baffled now..... Hey Baba ki agar Maan ne Geet se shaadi nahin ki, toh mujhse kar le!😆

Taveez can be like some Mythical Sign thing, right? Just so that she knows. But this culture thing is what is bothering me. If she does want to keep her baby, she needs to be okay with people acting weird when they find out that the husband is actually the baby's UNCLE! I mean, that "sounds" kinda ewww. But maybe that is the point -- maybe the ultimate solution is to be a lesson to people not to go ewww? Or is that TOO philosophical for a Hindi TV show?

😆 You REALLY want to be married to someone as VOLATILE as Maan? One minute all dreamy-eyed and the next minute all Raavan-eyed??! He's kinda creepy just now (if I were Geet, ie).

I dunno. Just wondered about that title. Cause the way Maan is, and the situation is, everything is quite tricky, no? I mean, I agree that Dev is a charming snake, and I bet Maan has problems with the kind of person he is. But he seems to be VERY much a Stand-by-your-family kinda man? So between Dev and Geet, who would Maan (the misogynist) choose? It's an interesting dilemma cause his father did apparently adopt Dev as his own child, to the extent that Daadi and Maan think of him as family. So that might mean that Dev is actually Maan's father's biological child? (Wonder where the missing Vicky fits in this family tree -- elder to Dev, younger to Dev? Who is Vicky's mother?)

Now Maan will be in the position of also choosing whether to adopt his brother's illegitimate child as his own, openly in front of all society. Of course, Maan holds others opinions in contempt, so he wouldn't care?

Okay, we are officially tying ourselves into a philosophical knot. As Stu says, will wait and watch?

You are right -- They DIDN'T say that. Sorry. I am assuming that cause Dev's mother did not quite behave like Maan's stepmom. More like Maan's Nanny, or something.

So here's a possibility (which tracks the story of Pride and Prejudice which our cousin says this story reminds her of for some reason). Vicky is Maan's younger brother. And their mother died giving birth to him. And their father hired Dev's mother to be their nanny. And she had this son (Dev). Maan maybe got along with Dev very well as a child. And maybe Dev was always a charming snake and charmed Maan's father. Who then adopted Dev.

And then Sameera came and seduced Maan's father, and dumped him after getting all his wealth, saying that she could not possibly spend all her youth on looking after two or three children. And Maan's father was so shattered that he killed himself. Maan would have worshipped his father and was shattered. But he was the man (and Maan! 😳) of his house, and was more like his strong Daadi than his father. And worked and worked to get really rich, defying all the odds. But he always carried the scars of how his father was destroyed by a younger woman (oh, and Geet is much younger to him too!).

And we think that NainTAR wanted to get married to Maan for his wealth also. But he would not even LOOKED at her. So she is a woman scorned. And swore to get Maan's money. And is using Dev to do it.

Phew!

This doesn't have anything to do with Geet and SABSE parayi. But you had asked why we thought Dev was adopted. That was it. 😆
