So here's a possibility (which tracks the story of Pride and Prejudice which our cousin says this story reminds her of for some reason). Vicky is Maan's younger brother. And their mother died giving birth to him. And their father hired Dev's mother to be their nanny. And she had this son (Dev). Maan maybe got along with Dev very well as a child. And maybe Dev was always a charming snake and charmed Maan's father. Who then adopted Dev.

And then Sameera came and seduced Maan's father, and dumped him after getting all his wealth, saying that she could not possibly spend all her youth on looking after two or three children. And Maan's father was so shattered that he killed himself. Maan would have worshipped his father and was shattered. But he was the man (and Maan! 😳) of his house, and was more like his strong Daadi than his father. And worked and worked to get really rich, defying all the odds. But he always carried the scars of how his father was destroyed by a younger woman (oh, and Geet is much younger to him too!).

And we think that NainTAR wanted to get married to Maan for his wealth also. But he would not even LOOKED at her. So she is a woman scorned. And swore to get Maan's money. And is using Dev to do it.

Phew!

This doesn't have anything to do with Geet and SABSE parayi. But you had asked why we thought Dev was adopted. That was it. 😆

lol i love the story you made up! you should post it on the FB page from the CVs
i was kind of confused with the adopted thing lol
but wow that was amazing! lets see what the CVs have in mind hopefully sameera is not an ex :)
and the way naintara looks at maan obviously shows that she has something for that man
but thanks for clearing that up =D

OH GOSH all of you are making me think....i really don't want them to separate. I hope that this doesn't end up like 99% of the indian drama's and never have the main guy and girl happily together and married.
Please break this curse and keep them together forever. and i hope they end the show nicely when they do not some random stop in the middle of a story and some sad ending....please don't

i believe,
the story wud be lot like "JAB WE MET", GEET may become recluse and loner, when our mAAN will reach out for her, to bring the old GEET back

Refering to the sabse hui paraye. Well to be a stranger, first you have to close or something with someone, no? Wait, does that even make sense?
Okay, I thought it meant that she would break away from her family. Become parayi to them, cause like she was family and really loved. But after the Dev fiasco, she forsaked all of them, just like how they stopped talking to her. Like Geet said is her own words (paraphrased by me) : "Im no longer Geet Handa. Im just Geet now." She became parayi from them. Make any sense??
And regarding Maan, didnt he get the tavaaz? Doesnt that symbolize something about life partner forever?

😆 Not our story -- the cousin put it together. And she will say it's Pride and Prejudice. Maan is Darcy. Vicky is Georgiana. Dev is Wickham. And Daadi is Darcy's grandmother (like in the story only). NainTAR doesn't have a single P&P character -- but is like a mix of that bitchy Caroline Bingley (who was always after Darcy) and the weird Lydia (who married Wickham).

So thank you, Stu. For many things including use of your account. 😆

Actually, it may NOT be so bad if they stay apart -- as long as they agree together that it is the best thing to do. What is disgusting about the usual drama is how they are so desparate to stay together but the Evil Guys always get them apart, and they keep moping with BIG FAT TEARS. Gross.

If Maan-Geet decide to stay apart, they should not cry or feel sad. They should do it cause they think it's right.

Actually, we think Geet will not be SABSE parayi. 😆 Just wondering about the SABSE in the title.

No, I think it means, she began with her journey ALL alone. They're showing her grow as an individual. That's the significance behind "sabse" parayi. Eventually she meets Maan, they fall in love, and then they begin the journey, together.

This is what I personally think.

Hey estee's cuz,
The character of MSK has been inspired from P&P's Mr.Darcy.
BTW, Is estee logging in . I would like to say hi for ol'd times sake
* edit* Oh I dont think Geet should be SABSE parayi either. Interesting and new concept. The village track was really nice, the whole land deal etc, new idea. I liked that .

If she does want to keep her baby, she needs to be okay with people acting weird when they find out that the husband is actually the baby's UNCLE! I mean, that "sounds" kinda ewww. But maybe that is the point -- maybe the ultimate solution is to be a lesson to people not to go ewww? Or is that TOO philosophical for a Hindi TV show?

😆 You REALLY want to be married to someone as VOLATILE as Maan? One minute all dreamy-eyed and the next minute all Raavan-eyed??! He's kinda creepy just now (if I were Geet, ie).

I disagree. He's not switching from dreamy eye'd and scary all the time. He does that with Geet because he's battling his thoughts. Once he decides either way he'll act consistent😆
or I hope so
😆
He's got a temper no doubt, but that's because he doesnt tolerate unjust things, doesnt support them. His heart is in the right place and I am hoping he will stand by whats right even if he's torn apart about the pregnancy.
Either way, I'd take a man like this any day that that charming snake... who goes out of his way to make people🤢 like him. Wouldnt like such a character if he hadnt cheated Geet, not genuine at all.
