July 28 Written Update

Part 1

The family returns home with Meena & the baby. Ganga & Kavita welcome them. Ramakant is coming downstairs but stops when he sees them in the doorway. Bulbul rushes past him to admire her new little sister. Meena is scared of Ramakant's reaction. Everyone is admiring the little baby girl and making jokes. As they leave and head towards the prayer room Meena looks at Ramakant. He smiles at her and blesses her from afar then turns and goes back upstairs. Meena feels hurt.

Shivam & Aastha enter their room where Avni is having fun playing with Krishna. They thank her for looking after him in their absence. Avni tells them that she enjoys spending time with Krishna They joke that she might tell Bharat to kidnap Krishna because she loves him so much and will be able to play with him all the time. Avni leaves saying she will go to see Meena & the baby on the way out.

Shivam tells Aastha that she must be tired and should rest. Aastha says that all her tiredness vanished when she saw Meena accept her daughter. Shivam compliments her for the way she handled Meena even after she said such hurtful things to her and how she was able to get Meena to accept her daughter.

Gaurav thanks Meena for giving him a beautiful daughter. He was so scared when she went into premature labour but God was kind to them and all of his fear vanished when he saw his beautiful little daughter. Meena doesn't look happy at all. He says God have blessed them so richly.

Ghanti comes to change the baby so Gaurav leaves. Meena scolds her saying don't touch the baby!!! Ghanti wonders what wrong she had done. Meena says you had dreamt that I would have a son but it didn't come true. Now Ramankant is angry with her for not giving him a grandson and if Aastha should have son then she would be treated like a queen and I would be nothing more than a servant.

Ramakant comes asking for food. Bhagyashree says she's making food for Meena. He gets upset. Ganga says she will arrange his food for him. He sees Aastha lifting a pot of water and scolds her asking what is she doing!!! She says that the geyser isn't working so she's arranging some hot water for Meena to have a bath. He tells her to put it down and go and rest because she needs to take care of herself now. Aastha obeys and takes a fruit as she leaves. Ramakant complains that everyone is paying so much attention to Meena. Bhagyashree asks why is that upsetting him so much. He says look at what happened to Meena (believing she went into premature labour), Aastha shouldn't be running up and down like this, she needs to be careful so that nothing happens to the baby. He storms out of the kitchen angrily. Ganga tells Bhagyashree that Ramakant is right and she is also worried that something bad could happen to Aastha.

Part 2

Ghanti is singing the baby to sleep. She gets frustrated because the baby won't fall asleep. Kavita & Bulbul come with Krishna to see the baby. Bulbul tells him about his new little sister. Ghanti says she's taking the baby upstairs now even though Bulbul begs her to stay longer. Bulbul comments that her grandfather doesn't like her little sister because he hasn't even touched her once and asks Kavita why. Kavita tries her best to console Bulbul but she herself is hurt by the way her father is reacting.

Ghanti tells Meena how Bulbul brought Krishna to see the baby and Meena gets upset.

Aastha is bringing a glass of milk to Meena and she overhears Meena saying that she has told Bulbul so many times to stay away from that unlucky Krishna. Aastha stops by the door frozen in shock on hearing this. Gaurav is passing in the corridor and sees Aastha standing in the doorway so he approaches her. As he reaches Aastha they both hear Meena complaining that she tried so hard to get Krishna Aastha & Shivam thrown out of the house but all of her plans failed. They hear her saying how she faked being pregnant and having a miscarriage by falling down the stairs then told them that she was pregnant again when she found out that she actually was pregnant. Ghanti tells her to speak softly or else her secret will be out, everyone thought that she was 7 months pregnant when she had actually reached full term. Aastha and Gaurav are in shock. Ghanti says if the family finds out the truth about her she would be thrown out. Gaurav speaks out saying Ghant is absolutely right. Meena realizes that he has heard everything. She stands up turns around and faces him, looking remorseful.

Part 3

Gaurav is very angry and says that not even God will forgive Meena for this awful thing that she had done. Meena appears to be remorseful. Gaurav says he can't believe that she could stoop so low for her own selfish needs. Meena begs him not to be upset because she was just trying to fulfill Ramakant's wish for a grandson. Gaurav says that Ramakant has a grandson and that is Krishna. Aastha is listening silently at the door, she's very upset hearing what horrible things Meena tried to do to them. Gaurav becomes so enraged that he feels like strangling her but he won't even touch her because she is so despicable. He says he's going to tell everything what a horrible thing the elder bahu of this family has done. Aastha stops him and begs him not to do that. Aastha says that if she had not heard this with her own ears she would not have believed it. She feels very hurt to hear all this but Shivam won't be able to bear this. She begs him not to let Shivam find out about this because it will cause a huge uproar in the house. Gaurav says he can't tolerate what Meena has done, he can't stand the sight of her anymore. Aastha says that she is the one who is most hurt by what Meena has done and she can forgive her so he should be able to forgive her too. She begs him not to forsake his daughter and rest of his family because of this. Gaurav tells Meena that she should be eternally grateful to Aastha because left up to him she would have no place in this family. He warns Meena that this is her last chance, if she does anything like this again he won't spare her. Tears come to Meena's eyes and she promises Gaurav that she won't do anymore things to hurt the family. Gaurav promises Aastha that he won't let anyone separate Krishna from the family then leaves. Aastha rests the glass of milk on the table outside of the door and is leaving. Meena falls at aastha's feet and with tears in her eyes she begs Aastha to forgive her. Aastha is totally shocked.

Precap

Meena promises Aastha that she will change her ways and that she will be more loving towards Krishna.

Bhagyashree is feeding Krishna in Aastha's room. Meena comes and says she will help.
