When I saw Sam's mom n sam's hospital scene, her behaviour towards Sam's reaction was little wierd.....I mean to say that it seems she is very image conscious.....she never wanted Sam to react the way he did....n it was again strange that both Gunjan n Mayank left Sam without even meeting him once.... there is something fishy.....may be sam's mom is responsible for Gunjan's behaviour......
