@ lambooji...
tappu really deserves her share of punishment, i dont think theres anyone out here who'd say she doesnt...
and u bring back the name of dhananjoy chatterjee (btw, the victim was 14 yr old hetal parekh - but that doesnt make his brutality any less) ... its been a while, still green in many of our thoughts... a death that was celebrated by the media... and am just reminded of a dialogue from a vernacular movie... of a policeman saying "even the toughest policeman around, while witnessing a hanging, if he has some humanness in him, will pray to that god he has never prayed to... so that something happens, some miracle... and the man with the noose around his neck - is spared". really, do u think death is answer to another death? may be ok in serials n fiction... but in real life, when u come face to face with it... when u know some one is going to be hanged right it front of you... wont u feel a whisper from within urging u to do something, atleast pray.. so that a life isnt snatched away?? just a question that haunted me after i read ur post... felt like asking... eager to know u ppls answers... are we all as hard hearted as to see a murder- state sponsored or otherwise, are we??
