i am worried now....

hi all, as veto power is used , it cant be used again as it was for one time only... No offence to Rakesh's fans please...if next time Shivam or Sreeram gets eliminated, what are the judges gonna do....they should have waited for top3 instead of top4....i am really worried regd next elimination....

why take the tension.....i think every body here takes this too personally,,,,and this is just a stepping stone....II is not the end yaar!

if Shreeram gets eliminated then judges will start there usual BS..."public does not vote properly and this is not fair and bla..bla..bla...."
but they will not accept that they misused there Veto Power

As far as I know, Idol (American and Australian) only allow judges to use their veto power by top 5....if they don't use it, they lose that right....so it was now or never....this was their last chance to use it and they did because they felt Rakesh deserved it... they would have done the same for Shreeram, Shivam or Bhoomi at this stage....

So in case Shreeram or Shivam get eliminated next week (I hope not)....the judges would not have anyway been able to save them... and will not be able to save Rakesh going forward.... so why pick on Rakesh based on speculation.... what did he do? I am sure he didn't wish to be eliminated and I didn't hear him ask the judges to save him.... he was making his departure speech when the veto happened....

If you guys need to crib about someone, then crib about the judges for not using veto power sooner to save people like Shashi, Vishwas and Naushad.... and letting less competent singers make it far into the competition....

i agree its not the end yaar, i am also like u bindaas and practical but this season of II i felt that better singers in final 5, esp sreeram, shivam and rakesh (in the order i wrote), so i was feelign that veto should have been saved for top4 and not top5....that way atleast one among the 2 S will be in finale...

the Q regd less competent singers still thr, its all on public voting, i cant help..that too being in USA i cant even vote....i can just pray that may the best win....

I gave the example of American Idol and Australian Idol where judges CANNOT use the veto power after top 5.....so even if they sent Rakesh home this evening, they would NOT be able to save anybody after this week... there is no veto power at top 4, top 3 or finale.....this is the general Idol rule as far as I know..... so once again I say, they could not have saved it for later based on this rule...

Do you think sony can afford to loose sreeram till finals? I don't think so. All judges will definitely go berserk. Even if the situation arises, sony will definitely manipulate the results as most of judges especially anumalik and salim are really proud of sreeram.

The veto has definitely been wasted on Rakesh. I was hoping that the judges would save it for a more deserving singer like Sreeram or Shivam. it would be the most unfortunate for Indian Idol if after all this Sreeram or Shivam get eliminated.

I would not have minded even saving Swaroop. Swaroop has unique earthy qualities to his voice and is willing to take risks and experiment.

There is no denial that Rakesh is an extraordinary technically sound signer, who has had some perfect renditions. However, he plays it safe and stays within a vocal comfort zone. He does not even add a personal touch or variation of his own. Not the kind of singer, I would want to support.
