Shivam is all hype and no substance

I really don't know that why are many people going ga ga over shivam.

His hair style is just hideous and looks very garish to say the least. Poor jerry mouse...

Singing is again just average, and like there are many better contestants than him, like naushad and sreeram. Shivam is not even in the league of these two. He has to reach a level to prove himself. He hasn't proved it yet.

Yet..all the hype...just overhype. He is Just OK, not that great either.

😲 Ok he may not have the best hair ever, but that's what makes him stand out and unique. and this isn't about hair style anyways! its about singing....Indian Idol.

Neither is he the BEST. But he is one of the stronger contestants on the show. Week after week he has shown what he is capable of. Yes he's not been perfect every round, but hey who has? He has repeatedly showed and proved that he is a versatile singer and he has tried different types of songs knowing that they might not have been his best performances! He doesn't live in fear that if he tries another genre of song that he may be weak. He just goes for it, tries to give it his best shot, and leaves the rest up to the audience and God. His efforts show. And even if he doesn't win, he will remain a true winner in all his fans hearts!

He is not hype. He is a deserving contestant who sings magically! What does he need to prove anyways? Isn't making it to the top 5 proof enough?

janta ka votes paane se kya koi layak ho jaata hai kya? waise bhi naushad, a zillion times better contestent was controversially eliminated due to audience votes. Its all sympathy. talent is not judged here unfortunately.

Don't go by looks, go by gayeki. And sunidhi is always gaga over him....for no valid reason.

Ok I agree that the Janta picks favorites. I've seen that on reality shows. I've witnessed it. And I've been told by my reality star friends! Most of the time the deserving never win! Sad fact of reality shows!

BUT even the judges praise the kid! And I'm sure the judges know what they are talking about! They are all musical geniuses! The sweetness Shivam has in his voice can't be compared to any other singer. Fine everyone has their own opinions! But him being able to reach into the top 5 says A LOT!

Sunidhi can do what she likes to do as long as she comments more on his singing which for the most part she has been doing!

Us ladke mein na hi koi feel hai, na hi kuch hai..his voice cracks at high notes. Terribly creaky and squeaky pattern.

No feel? Are you serious? Listen to his songs again...The dephness in his voice clearly shows how much he sings with feel! His voice cracks at high notes? Practice makes perfect right? He is working very hard for his singing. He shows improvement from one round to the next round which only a few singers do. He attempts new varieties of songs! Others stick to one genre. He puts himself at risk by trying higher difficulty levels of songs, others don't!

its easy to judge the book by its cover, isnt it? look inside his cover story for sure...can you tell me even one song where he performed that you can say like ....gaga over his performance....its all trash.

what do you expect from a singer? this is one of this outstanding performances!!! All judges praised him!
