2010 - Year of hot new pairs!

Year 2010 will always be remembered for its inventiveness and there's no doubt about it. Well how? Apart from exploring different content & diverse genres, it is one year where maximum filmmakers, with their vision & faith, have taken the courage of experimenting with their lead pairs, by casting all new, dew fresh & unusual 'jodis'.

Following is the list of pairs which we have seen/ or yet to see, creating their magic on-screen. Take a look. Also, tell us which of the jodis you liked the most and would love to see again.

Ranbir-Priyanka - ANAJANA ANJAANI
When 2 heartthrobs & superstars merge you sure know what the result could be! Considering Ranbir & Priyanka's current status in industry, everyone is eagerly awaiting to check out the duo.

Priyanka-Uday - PYAAR IMPOSSIBLE
Just like the film title, the jodi also proved to be 'Impossible' at the Box-office and among the audiences in general.

Sonam-Abhay - AISHA
It is one lethal combination of beauty with brains! It is touted that beautiful Sonam and brainy Abhay's pairing will storm the box-office once the film hits the screens.

Sonam-Imran - I HATE LUV STORYS
It was refreshing to see the two youngistanis romancing in typical Bollywood style on-screen and it quite worked for the film.

Imran-Deepika - BREAK KE BAAD
After Imran-Sonam's pair, everyone's looking forward to see how invigorating Imran-Deepika's jodi would be. Will they outshine the charm created by Imran-Sonam's jodi is something time will tell.

Abhishek-Deepika - KHELEIN HUM JEE JAAN SEY
It's heartening to see Abhishek-Deepika teaming up and with director Ashutosh Gowariker's backing we are waiting JEE JAAN SEY to watch the two.

Deepika-Farhan - KARTHIK CALLING KARTHIK
Hey Ya! Deepika & Farhan's pair wasn't that bad but somehow the jodi didn't work, despite of the backing of a strong script. Better luck next time!

Neil-Deepika - LAFANGEY PARINDEY
Because of their robust, rowdy & audacious portrayal in the film, it has made one all the more curious to check out this unusual pairing as and when the film releases.

Shahid-Genelia - CHANCE PE DANCE
It was one golden CHANCE to encash on the 2 spunkiest stars of Bollywood; however the film failed to 'Dance' on the 'Chance' attained.

Shahid-Anushka - BADMAASH COMPANY
Many thought this jodi wont work and would be outrightly rejected. However, when the film released Shahid-Anushka's sizzling chemistry was quite appreciated.

Salman-Zarine Khan - VEER
More than its content the film was constantly in the headlines for its lead pair and Zarine being a lookalike of Katrina Kaif. Much was written and talked about Salman & Zarine's pairing & chemistry.

Salman-Sonakshi - DABAANG
Shatrughan's Sinha's designer daughter Sonakshi makes her debut with the style Bhai of Bollywood - Salman Khan. And we are waiting with baited breath for this 'Dabaang' jodi.

Akshay-Trisha - KHATTA MEETHA
Yet to taste their Khatta-Meetha romance on-screen, but we are sure their jodi will be as tangy as Akki-Kats or Akki-Priyanka's, when the film releases.

Hrithik-Barbara - KITES
They had all the crackling chemistry to create fireworks but due to the lack of good 'whatever' their 'Kites' failed to fly high.

Emraan-Prachi - ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI
As different as chalk & cheese in their personas, yet they look hottest when together on-screen. Let's hope it turns out one successful pair and we can see more of them.

Ajay-Kangana - ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI
What more to add when two powerhouse performers face each other? Only sparks to fly on-screen!

Konkona-Ajay - ATITHI TUM KAB JAAOGE?
It was one big surprise to see Konkona & Ajay's pairing that too in a comedy film. The movie fared well at the box office and the pair was well accepted by viewers.

Mugdha-Bobby - HELP
Nothing much is written and talked about this pair. Although we are sure once the film releases the brawny & sophisticated Bobby's pair with fashionista Mugdha wouldn't need any 'Help' to grab the eyeballs.

Arjun-Kajol & Arjun-Kareena - WE ARE FAMILY
This would be one of the most unusual pairs to talk about. From the time its promos hit the screens, everyone is raving about its unconventional pairing, the bubbly & forthright Kajol/Kareena with reticent greek god Arjun Rampal. However the highlight of the film is Kajol & Kareena, let's see if their pairing with Arjun does some magic.
