Who were the contestants from whom you had high expectations after the Piano Rounds but then let you down in the Galas? And on the reverse, who were the ones who you were neutral towards but then got attached to them in Glas?
Well for me in Auditions and Pianos I loved Naushad's, Shashi's and Manisha's performances. They were both beyond good. In fact, in Piano Round 1 Naushad was best, Manisha was also awesome with 'Solemiya'.
But both these singers disappointed me in Piano Rounds. They were not consistent, did not take to the stage easily and despite being trained singers messed up sur. Manisha wa a disaster in galas, Naushad was extereml inconsistent and after Gala 1, did not really perform as well as expected. Shashi was amazing in Pianos and Gala 1 as well. But after that he was not his brilliant self.
On the other hand, Sreeram 's Piano Performance was just about OK. he sang a song from Ghajini, he was good but not extraordinary. But later on he just went form better to best😊👏
So i guess a singer who shows initial brilliance then fades out is a major disappointment.😕 It has happened in so many reality shows. Yatharth in little champs, Torsha in Idol 4, Puja and Charu in Idol 3, Ritisha in VOI2 are some other examples which come to mind. i don't know its back stage politics or anything else, often unknown reasons are behind these singers' gradual downfall.
