I do not find any appreciation thread for Rakesh who won thrice best singer . Hope there are fans of Rakesh here. I am sure vote is not on other virtues that the contestants have but purely on singing.

Rakesh not only sang very well consistently and has a GREAT VOICE. He creates an atomosphere and one gets into mood of the song when Rakesh sings. Not only that Asha Bhosle the legend declared him the best singer and compared his voice with Mhd. Rafi.

Please do not let a talent waste and struggle . He deserves a break seriously.

The problem with Rakesh is that he is not at all versatile & his choice of songs r too simple as compared to other contestents.

i also like rakesh...😊

Ofcourse noone can change the truth . If he is not versatile then he is not & thats the fact. Since versatility is an important feature in a singer.

Nothing like that he can sing any song since he is VERY SURELA, Only screaming does not make a song sound good or surela. In these song you cannot catch if they go besura. Some of them may be singing some such songs but are they singing it PERFECT. ???

Rakesh sang not easy song. Pl hear them properly some of them are quite difficult one. It may sound easy but not so.

HE HAS A GREAT VOICE. I AM SURE HE CAN SING THOSE SREAMING SONGS BUT may be all of them sings the same way then it would be a noisy show.

Well, Sashi a versatile singer and sang the most difficult of songs a classical singer, why was he out. Just because he is not bothered about his look etc. HE SANG THE MOST DIFFICULT SONGS AND TO THE BEST.

The votes are on community, look, state, religion. WHY ARE THE JUDGES NOT USING THEIR VETO POWER. WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO USE. THEY SHOULD HAVE BROUGHT SASHI BACK.

Rakesh is NOT versatile. But that doesn't mean he's a bad singer. Its a flaw that needs to pointed out so it can be improved upon. The only way a competition is fun to watch is when the contestants are talented. Rakesh is a great singer, he just needs to work on his versatility to become a stronger contender for the crown. Why do all fans take constructive criticism as insults?

And you're welcome to point out Sreeram's flaws as well. That's why this is a discussion forum. Now don't complain that Sreeram doesn't have any flaws .... what should I complain about. 😛

From what I heard in that episode, Asha ji was only comparing his physical style of singing with Rafi Saab's. Let's not push it to comparing Rakesh's voice with the legend!

Hello, where have i mentioned in my post Sreeram's name or did i say i do not like Sreeram. I DEFINATELY SUPPORT HIM. BUT HE CANNOT PROVE HIMSELF WITH A WEAK PERFORMER. HE SHOULD COMPETE WITH STRONG SINGERS. RIGHT.

Honey, I did not write that in response to your most. I quoted Pari. So before you start giving out unwanted advice, I suggest YOU take your own advice and read the posts properly and understand them thoroughly before you jump to such conclusions. :)
