I was feeling a little uncomfortable watching Maa the Ladla performance by young kids in a kiddie show. They were making fun of a certain life style or orientation which I thought was a little PG rated for a kiddie show. Specially the kissing and other innuendos! Of course their dancing was good but the theme was slightly inappropriate for kiddie show.

Disclaimer: I am not saying anything against or promoting a certain lifestyle, neither I am commenting on the performance of the kids. I am against exposing kid audience (5Yrs old and up) to such themes so early.

Please please please do not comment about the choice of a lifestyle here !

Baiju ji..tum bhi hamar maafik deramaa create karne ki kosis to nahi na kar rahein 😆 ...well aaj kal ke bacchein sab jaante hain..also a 5 year old kid donot give a damn about the concept or the meaning of a song..the kid just enjoys the dence and dances with the song 😃 ...now a days there are hardly any hindi movie songs which donot have a twisting word in it..there are hardly any peppy number to dance on with a really good intention/meaning..we are not left with many choices..are we?

I understand what you're saying Baiju, some people might see it inappropriate, but I thought it was very cute, silly, funny and entertaining. I don't see how they were making fun of that life style. It was more like they were portraying an act, which is not disrespectful or wrong.

Anyway, honestly, Bollywood has taken such a drastic turn in the kind of movies they make, that these kids are over and beyond exposed to such inappropriate behavior. This is where the parents come in to discipline their kids and make them understand that Bollywood is only fun and games and never to be taken serious. 😳

I mean honestly, these days, I can't even sit down and watch a Bollywood movie with my parents. There is more exposure and ridiculous scenes in a Bollywood movie (unnecessarily) then in a Hollywood movie, which goes with theme and concept. 😊

Good point ! Vaise hum koi drama umaa nahin create kar rahe they. Lagta hai hum jab bache they tab zamana bahut hee G rated tha ! When I see these kids deal with mature topics , I feel bad because you are a child only once in your life and then you will be dealing with these things any ways ! What is the hurry!

Edited -

"I agree that they are not making fun of any particular lifestyle! I think I did not write it clearly before but I don't think they were trying to make a stand or any thing but just bringing one particular life style in the limelight in a funny way and thats it "

End Edited

I know ! And what is the obsession with showing the delivery scenes in bollywood? 😆 (Remember 3 idiots !) . BTW - I am going to write a 😡 letter to Disney also because they are also showing certain things which are not G rated at all. The other day I was watching G rated "Good luck Charlie" with my friend's daughter and there was a dialogue that the mom could not hold going to the bathroom because she gave birth to 4 kids ! I think they could have avoided this particular dialogue !

I totally agree with you 100% i think it was cute and sweer , even though my mom thought it was kinda inappropriate. I wud say im 50-50. And yes definetly nowadays children have so much exposure to the lilest things whihc i think kids shudnt be knowing. But i agree with you 1000000% :D
