Kelkar, who is seen in another Balaji show 'Bairi Piya', will now be the antagonist in this Imagine TV show. A reliable source says, "Sharad will be entering the show as Abhay, who is the cousin of Akruti, Sadanand Deshmukh's younger daughter. He's playing a negative character. The Deshmukh aren't aware of their daughter-in-law Swara's past. Abhay has seen Swara perform as a lavani dancer. He reveals this fact to Swara's in-laws and her husband.
