Milenge Milenge has not scored heavily at the box office theatrically but the producers who are also the all India distributors will make a healthy profit with film. The film has an investment of around 15-16 crore including print and publicity and it is likely the the film will produce revenue of over 21 crore giving a 30% plus return on investment which is a rarity today.

The film has fetched 8.60 crore from satellite rights, 1.50 crore from Home Video, 2.11 crore from music rights and the Overseas circuit has been sold outright for 3 crore. This brings the revenue to 15.21 crore leaving the Indian theatrical returns as profit.

Milenge Milenge is a five year old film but things have turned out very well for the producer Boney Kapoor due to good rates today for satellite rights. Even theatrically it may do better today then it would have done five years ago as in 2004 the Shahid Kareena starrer Fida did 9 crore nett business and Milenge Milenge is likely to do more than that.

I disagree kawal. Everyone was waiting for Bebo-Shahid movie. Especially after their breakup. Even thought this move was before their break up they still wanted to see them together on-screen. I am not surprised movie is doing good if not great and no doubt bebo and shahid looks great on-screen and share good chemistry post JWM.

no but there are alot of fans who changed the channel everytime they saw the song promo, they dont want to see Shahid n Kareena Together cuz of what happend and then Boney made it even more worse by the promotion , so i disagree with you :P

i am not sure who those people were. But the truth is even knowing movie was in making for a while. it got good opening and it's not a flop. It proves how much audience wants to see these 2. I think it did pretty well in overseas too. Congrats to the team that movie did well without the lead promoting for the movie.

I agree a lot of people wanted to see Kareena and Shahid togather, and thatz why they were rushing to cinema. That would explain why MM had better opening than Shahid's Chance Pe Dance and Patsahala. Look at the irony these films were new, but people wanted to watch MM more. By the way I didn't come up with that box office india said MM had better opening than CPD and some other SHhaid movie don't recall which either Patshala or something else

@ Zareena why do you think they will only work togather if it's only a Kjo production?
