And on top of that, Johar is also close to Saif. I mean these guys share a common group of friends. Saif, Kareena, Johar, Srk, Gauri, Hrithik, etc.

Pushing kareena and Shahid to do a film will not go down well with Saif. And I doubt that Kareena or Karan would wanna go down that route.

its doing well because even the money it earned is a lot because when during MM time films were not that expensive to make. So the film is recovering its cost and the producers are happy. Hence thatz why its doing well
