What troubles me the most is how marriage is taken so lightly and that by marrying for revenge is something to appauld. Marriage used to be a sacred reunion of 2 people who worked together to make it successful. This marriage seems so child's play. I was not impressed by the Pooja Gor's article as it was just so blase about the whole marriage and slapping and her character being somewhat a role model for young impressionable girls.
Girls need to look for real life heros rather than look up to fictional character where creative license is used to create such drama and heroism.
Unless you have gone through a bad marriage or witnessed a bad marriage, nobody understands the complexities that a woman goes through, and the strength she has to have to endure to fight for her rights. Compared to what my mother went through, Pratigya's life is comfortable. She has the support of husband, and her family support. Imagine if you don't have husband, in laws or your own family support. The real strength of a woman is shown on how she deals with these issues.

she thinks kesar and amma are worthy of it unlike her becasue they are not educated like her. they are unpads so they are capable of being treated as dirt
that is why she deserted them half way and left for maika.
kesar is so loyal to her she has supported her and taken beating for her whether she was there or not but Praitya, nope nope nope.
there is actually a thread glorifying her lame-brained slaps the cause for all the trouble in Illahabad and Mumfordgunj Uff this girl is so tiresome. I would eat bitter neem leaves everyday if they just dropped her from the show
In one of the SBS clips we saw very young girls who looked more like 8-10 year olds who say they love Pratigya on the show. Does that mean these little girls are watching a show with adult content and drawing their own conclusions? Pooja may feel good about all the attention and adoration from her little fans but where is the responsibility in giving these little girls such misleading ideas about relationships with a 19 year old actress who seems to take pride in her choices as the lead character. Will she feel the same way in a decade when she looks back? How will she feel if a little girl is hurt badly after taking a lead from the character on this show? Hope these kids are watching the show with adult supervision or they could be led down a very dangerous path of believing slapping guys at random is the way to go. It could be hell instead, something they never know could happen as little girls when it's all glorified on TV.
