At the party hosted by the South African Consulate to announce their global brand ambassador Anil Kapoor, the man was clearly in charge.
He was ushering in guests, escorting them to their seats, and looking after their comfort. A few other observations — the otherwise efficient emcee Rakshanda Khan was too loud and too screechy for a dignified event. 😆
Maheep Kapoor and Seema Khan came in together. Sanjay was away in Delhi, but Maheep was her usual chirpy self. Sohail came much later but in a mushy mood and showered love and attention on his biwi. Ditto for Ayub Khan and wifey Niharika. Chunky and Bhavna.
Valentine month was last month but love is still in the air…. Manish Malhotra breezed in close to Cinderella hour, dressed nattily in one of his own creations. Oscar nominee Jennifer Jones rocked the party as people took to the floor. All in all, one classy affair. Well done, Kaajal
