Singing talent wise.. Karunya is way ahead of Amey. Advantage Karunya.

Versatility wise, Amey has proven himself. Karunya is only exciting when singing Sukhwinder, Fateh Ali etc.. he did a really dismal job of Hum Tum .. so slow romantic songs don't suit his voice.. Advantage Amey

I can understand why Sonu likes Karunya.. he does what probably Sonu can't.. sing those songs Sonu didn't get in the Industry cuz they don't suit him.. they fit Karunya and he sings them better than originals

Amey has the same voice pattern so what he sings.. Sonu can do better therefore it'll be tough to impress Sonu with what Amey has to offer.

It's that simple.. no bias.. just real assessments.. Karunya is more exciting to Sonu than Amey.

No Offence to Yesudas... he is one of the greatest singer of this country.. but do you think his kind of voice would suit like of Amitabh Bachan... Yesudas sang a part for Amitabh in Trishul and that's it...His kind of singing and diction could suit only certain actors...

For God's sake stop all this north-south and east-west differences. These are not days where u find one or two playback singers dominating the whole film-music industry. There were days when such things used to happen but now days have changed. There's room for everyone who's talented. Nonody could stop A.R.Rehman, Shankar Mahadevan, Kavitha Krishnamurthy, Balasubramanium and Chitra from exploring Hindi music industry. They are the names to reckon with. Nobody can deny that. Everybody's given fair chance these dys. So, chill up and enjoy music.

excellent points!!! i am sick of people dividing north-south, east-west. why do people consider inferior to others? if you have talent then you will come ahead. nothing stopped ar rahman.

i don't know why people bring yesudas all the time. i don't think his voice suits many hindi songs.

hey, chill out, Sonu is not afraid nor jealous of anyone, why would he be...he is already established...

truly he likes both Amey and Karunya...just that last 2 galas Karu sang very well at the same time Amey had bad throat when he sang Rang De and in yest gala too, the high pitched song didnt suit him...

when Sonu was asked,he said he would like to see Amey and Karu as top 2...that is suffice to prove sonu is not biased...

just my view, no offence here...

Previously I too liked Sonu as singer and also as a judge, but now i think tha Sonu is becoming biased a bit. How can anyone explainhis comparison of Amey with Karu. Agreed that Karu sang the best yesterday but come on!! Has he ever made any such comparisons earlier?
Amey sang 'SunoNa' better than Karu in Gala 5. But that time Sonu did not compare Karu with Amey by saying that Amey was the best. So why now?????
He shld remain unbiased. I am losing my respect for Sonu now.
And on the top of it Sonu was seen praising Sandeep in results round. So in the next round I am sure Sandeep will get highestnumber of votes. And the blame goes to Sonu. Forget Farah nobody listens to her comments.

Exactly Anjali. There's no need to bring in a great singer like Yesudas. Moreover, his voice didn't suit everyone. He was best for Amol Palekar kind of actors. I still enjoy his 'gori tera gnaav bada pyaara' from Chittchor. We are only tarnishing the names of big and great singers like them. Even now if u take Kunal Ganjawala, Abhijit, KK, Shaan or even Babul Supriyo for that matter, each one of them has certain voice quality that suits a genre' of songs. They cannot sing all kinds of songs. So, it ends there. No need to drag their names and divide the already divided junta.

I have just two points.. the statement that 'Kishore Kumar removed Yesudas politically from the industry' is an amazing accusation..and in total disrespect to one of the great artists of India..

And about Sonu having something against Amey, I just wanted to remind everybody he was the only one who kept defending Amey after the RDB fiasco (yes I think it was quite a fiasco for Amey)..Sonu definitely has his biases, but I have always thought he was biased towards Amey(and ofcourse Karunya) rather than against him.. and for a good reason ofcourse....with all due respect..
