Hema's most difficult song

Initially, I didn't agree with people who were saying that he was singing relatively easy songs, but after watching the last three episodes of Karunya in II2, I would agree. Karunya's songs were of a different caliber, and he aced them technically.

Not to say that Hema could not have sung such songs, but we never got a chance to see his complete potential. I would say his most difficult would be Tanhayee/Hai Rama. Not sure if he could fully pull off Lagan Lagi.

I actually had to watch all his performances again to figure out why I was so drawn to him. And it didn't take more than 30 seconds into the first performance to figure it out. 😊 I watched the rest anyway.😆

Although Karunya maybe technically slightly smoother, Hema added his own touches to songs, and sang with a lot of feel. His diction may have weighed him down in the sense that he had to be more concious about it, whereas Karu can concentrate fully on the song.

I personally feel that Karunya is a better singer than Hema technically. But the voice quality of Hema is hunderd times better than Karunya.

Karunya have sung much difficult songs than Hema, and thats a fact. I was really impressed to see Karunya pulling the N.Fateh Ali Khan song so well. Karunya does not have the diction problem that Hema had. But Karunya has a little bit of Karan Johar touch 😉 , which I don't like.

I think his Tanahayee, Hai RAma, Nahi samne, Vande Mataram, and Woh Lamhe were difficult songs. Thereis so much pitch variation, harkatein and breath control in these songs. SInce he sings effortlessly, it appears like easy songs, but they are not. SImilar to NIhira, she sings the most difficult songs effortlessly and so when they make the slightest mistake points are taken off. ARR songs are difficult to sing live on stage due to so muchoverlap in singing. I thought all the above were difficult except Bhumbroo.

Karunya is an excellent singer. But you cannot compare.Their voices are different. Karunya is technically good, butlacks emotion in his songs and kind of playful in his voice. Hemachandra has very good tonal quality, good classical touch, but has some difficulty in high pitches and diction of course

Hema has sung few quite difficult songs but again he makes those songs sound so easy. He adds his own personal individual touch to it which touches people's heart. I am enjoying Karunya while Hema is not performing. He has grown on me too. It is a treat in its own. Both great singers.

Yes, that is true. And I am confident that two years of extra riyaz will easily get Hema singing as effortlessly as Karunya. I agree Hema made even moderately hard songs look easy, but I still don't think Aadesh made him sing songs as complicated as Karunya's (atleast the last three songs).

Maybe if AS trusted in him more Hema could have shown what he was made of, and won over more votes.

In fact Hema's Voice Quality and the performance and his presence is far far ahead of everyone in Indian Idol and Sa re Ga Ma Pa as well. I honestly I have my own doubt on how Debo has won and why vineet was hyped and what made mentors to give 8 marks everytime especially HR and what made them all to give hema 10 for his last song in the show, I think because its his last song and they are sure he is no more a threat they had to appreicate and give him points as well, but AS who is unaware or ignorant of these facts was just appreicating and accepted the defeat.

I have been watching indian idol thats just crazy and the voice quality and show itself is very very unprofessional.

For example Nehera and Himani are so superior every female so far who sang in India Idol, even looks wise they are superior, anyone feels otherwise certainly have a problem.

I don't know what to say. Maybe if both of them perform on the same stage, we would be able to judge them better. Karunya is such an effortless singer. Talking about effortless singing, Arijit Singh of FG comes into my mind.
