The Skipper of the Week title so far is given twice.... In the first occassion to Mayuresh-Vrushali in Ballroom round and to Dharmesh in futuristic round. What do you think.....what makes a Skipper of the week??

According to me.....mayuresh-vrushali got that title for choreographing paso doble....no doubt the attempt was very appreciating since little kids were involved in it... and the choreography was also good...but the execution was very messy....so what does it imply?? a skipper only choreograph??? 😕 don't teach his choreography? 😕 Jai should have got that title since instead as his Jive & Samba choreography were both amazing and authentic...and his kids executed it beautifully.

I don't understand what they are basing their decision on....For ballroom episode, all of Jai's kids executed it flawlessly....which got no recognition. I still can't get over Jai's choreography with Papiya this week not being recognized by the judges.....which was not only executed beautifully ...it was highly creative and just BEAUTIFUL in its entirity....😍

Sometimes I feel that the judges are very biased towards whichever form they like the best. Papiya was just amazing in that performance, but it seemed kind of overlooked. I do not think that the judges realized how hard it must be to dance in a giant cloth...flawlessly.

I too wondered what made them give it to Mayuresh/Vrushali. Ultimately came to the conclusion that it was because they chose harder ballroom styles to present. According to Sandeep Sir both of their styles had more difficulty than Jai's or Dharmesh's styles

Here is my guess:
Skipper Of The Week
  • Skipper who has many amazing duet performances in a day
  • Skipper who has made brilliant coreography
  • Skipper who's solo's were amazing
  • Skipper who reiceived most good comment/ahats off, etc
i am not sure though. It is just my guess!
Hope this helped you 😊

According to me, skipper of the week should be given to someone who choreographs all of their dances flawlessly... Last week Dharmesh was the least best in Ballroom dancing and Jai was the best and had more intricate choreography which was equally well executed by the kids in his team. I personally did not find Mayuresh/Vrushali's choreography very clean.
This week Dharmesh deserved the award... not just for the futuristic theme (the radha krishna dance was the best in the duo round) but also because all the solos from his team were equally well performed and well choreographed.

I think you are right.... Sandip made that decision mainly because Vrush- Mayuresh chose Pasa Doble as opposed to Jai's Jive and the Samba....I can see that Pasa Doble can reasonably be considered harder to perform by kids because of all the attitude it has as opposed to Jive which mainly has footwork...even though Jai choreographed quite advanced footwork in the Jive...However..the Pasa Doble was not executed flawlessly....which they decided to overlook ,to Sash's orginal point.....
I do think, as a matter of opinion, this week Papiya's choreography done by Jai should have gotten him a skipper of the week prize....It was just BEAUTIFUL...not to metion the transformer one by Atul-Divyam which was also very creative and very well executed.
BTW....before they started giving the "skipper of the week" title officially...I seem to remember at least 1 episode where they declared Jai the best skipper of the week.....
