Uttama Chachi tells Vedika their fates are similar. Mahant (Harshwardan's) Father killed her son and Husband while Mahant killed Vedika's love and dreams. Vedika agrees with Uttama that Ganga and Mahant ruined her life. Uttama deviously gives Vedika the idea of ruining Ganga and Mahant's relationship by stopping them from uniting as husband and wife from their first night (Suhaag Raat).
Everyone gathers outside to see the moon. The three daughter-in-laws and their Mother-in-law do their pooja in a line with their back to their husband. They see through the circle looking at their husbands. They all put red tika on their forehead and then they touch their feet. Vedika secretly touches Mahant's feet. Bela breaks her fast looking at her lover.
Ganga makes a vow to herself that she will never let sorrow or any evil eye fall upon Mahant. The Husbands all give their wives water to drink but Vedika pretends to faint . Mahant gives Vedika water to drink breaking her fast for her. Vedika awakens smiling. Mahant hands Vedika back to Arjun.
PRECAP- Ganga and Vedika have a showdown. Vedika promises to make Mahant hers while Ganga vows that Mahantji will always be hers from past life to this life and through anyother life.
