That is different---aapki to poori class hi......---i mean poori class ko hi bahut tough test mila hoga.😆

But i am talking of cases where highest is 95/100 and on the flip side are namunas who write lyrics of songs they know to fill sheets in paper . 😆

I don't know about now, but when we appeared for board exams, the passing marks for Secondary exams was 40% and for Higher Secondary exams it was 36% (this was in West Bengal).
In Maharashtra, the govt. is steadily making it easier for people to score higher and nowadays people have to work really hard to fail in the exams. But surprisingly there was an article in the newspaper a few days ago that inspite of all this, more than 12% of the students in Mumbai scored less than 45%. Apparently those who fail, continue to fail year after year and that's what pushes up the number of students who scores low.

The grading system was reportedly put in place to reduce the level of stress on the students and also to bring down the number of pvt coaching centres that were mushrooming all over the country cashing in on the need for scoring in academics. There were increasing nos of suicide cases and depression amongst the students. The present grading system aims to take the heat away from mere accademic performance to an all round devp of students. It remains to be seen how things shape up !
