Haath Jin Mein Ho Junoon Khat The Nahi Talwar Se
Sar Jo Uth Jaate Hain Woh Jhuk The Nahi Lalkaar Se
Haath Jin Mein Ho Junoon Khat The Nahi Talwaar Se
Sar Jo Uth Jaate Hain Woh Jhuk The Nahi Lalkaar Se

Hum Toh Ghar Se Nikale Hi The Baandkar Sar Pe Qafaan
Chahaatein Le Baar Liye Lo Bhar Chale Hain Yeh Kadaam

I loved this movie for the most part of it....and still do.....Madhavan is my hero of the movie....Totally stole the show with his controlled and subtle acting....Siddharth was great too...Kunal and Sharman too did a wonderful job....Aamir overacted in parts but was great overall...All in all a very enjoyable and inspiring movie but for the ending....

Don't agree with the ending though.....India is not under some dictatorship that a bunch of commandos can attack people without doing any interrogation....

Even a hardcore criminal terrorist like Kasab is not killed at the get go and being given a fair chance to talk and make his point heard....

What happened at the end of the movie is highly improbable and ABSOLUTELY impossible....Rakesh Mehra is some what a biased film maker and clearly manipulates facts to his liking....

In both RDB as well as Delhi-6 the way he showcased India and especially the Hindus is totally biased and wrong....

I liked the movie. I wouldn't say it was brilliant coz certain parts like the climax could have been better handled and the pace of the film could have been faster. But it made a point and made it with an impact.

I especially liked the way it depicted youngsters of india. In most movies and tv serials, college going youth are projected as a bunch of dumbos wearing bubblegum coloured clothing, who have nothing else on their mind apart from LOVE and ROMANCE....it showed the youth the way they were...crazy, uninhibited, progressive, irresponsible but someone who would rise to the occasion when the need cums.
The way they drew parallels from the past and the present was also beautiful.

I particularly loved the songs and how the songs were integrated into the story....my fav being Lukka chuppi which couldnt have been placed in a better situation.

The acting was excellent. Loved aamir, sharman, soha, maddy, siddharth and kunal. Atul kulkarni was wonderful too.

Despite a few illogical points (like the defence minister blaming a deceased pilot on national tv and commados shooting all the five down despite knowing that they are harmless)...RDB was a good effort.

^The climax is not just illogical but totally offensive....

Oh and that defense minister playing the blame game, it happened in reality....The MIG issue wasn't fabricated totally...

there was nothing illogical in it, politics can go to any extent , it do happen in real life even today , and abt shooting them , they showed commandos getting orders " koi nahin bachna chahiye " obviously they got order frm some high officials , means there were also politics behind their killings and the meaning of it was this problem was not only till defense minister but more deep with lot more high ministers involved ( this i read somewhere, me too used to think end was not good but after understanding, I dont find that illogical anymore, may be ROM cldnt present this idea properly, so many cldnt get )

and sorry RDB was not only "Good " effor it was "GREAT" Effort.....just with 1-2 things one not agree, rest of the effort can't be deny, and this is a movie 1-2 loopholes r bond to happen .....

I think this was the only movie that I watched in a theater that made me feel PROUD of being an Indian. There was something so exquisite about this movie that I walked out of the theater numb with pride. The acting was excellant the music was amazing, the story simply superb.
I can't pinpoint one thing that I disliked about this movie, It's one of those movies in my list of watch again and again.
In regards to the subject, I think patriotism is very passionate to Indians, no matter where they live. So to the true patriots and heroes of our country (no I don't mean Gandhi, he is no hero for me) I leave with the following
"Sura sau pehchaniye, jo lade dheen ke heth
purja purja kat mare, kabhon na chade kheth
jo tum prem khelan ko chaho
sir dhar tali, gali mori aao"

real freedom fights r lost somewhere in the history ...and i m glad in RDB they showed how We Need Bhagat singh , Azad's and rest of freedom fighters in today's world and how their views r relevant even today
