And people burning their bahus for dowries in urban, middle class families sounds unrealistic as well.. but it does happen. 🤢

I'm still at a wait and watch with this show.. lets see what happens.

darling all this shit does happen in some parts...

checking the fertility and strip srearch until now has never happened even in India and I am from a middle classs north indian family and had been in so many ladki dikhana.....until i got in love and find myself a hubby on my own but my mom and brother never let anybody ask me a silly question........and none of the so called ladka wala asked those except dowry ...........Grrrrrrr
in these days where girlfriend /boyfriend s are common now girls go outside to study work late..........and lot of then might have some relation ship too so next they are going to check if they are virgin or not ................what next
and the doctor who did the test did she asked if the girl is married or not or where is her husband or mother in law etc,,,,,,,,,,,,,no.................

i think its more on a realistic basisi, they have shown mami loves her bt she cnt reli keep sumoine elses daughter for too long, her mom also keeps instigating her and all she wants to do is get off the responsibility of her husbands sisters daughter, i mean u expect that she isnt closely related to her directly so she doesnt feel much for her... she jst wanst the boj off her head it happens in real as far as i knw even worst happens so yeah its very much realistic

I agree, this may happen in real life India, as I am not from there and so cannot comment but what makes this show really unrealistic for me is the whole damn concept. In all indian shows, women are shown in two extremes, as either the devilish villain or the all good devi type. It just doesn't work that way, and heres yet another show where the 'good girl' just takes crap from whoever gives it to her. Its just silly.
