At the onset of shooting schedule, the sight of women participants dressed in skimpy clothes seemed hard for villagers to digest. "Over past one month, both the participants and villagers have grown used to each other. Now, the girls dress sensibly and villagers also don't care what they wear," observed Parmila. The shooting has also benefited locales who've got opportunity to make quick bucks doing odd jobs of washing utensils, doubling up as spot boys or helping unit in one way or another. Villagers reveal that earlier they were paid Rs 400 for even a mundane task and the same rate has now slipped to Rs 250 due to competition.
