Fawcett Challenges Druggie Son's Dealers

The former Charlie's Angels star is so desperate to help her son kick his drug habit she has started challenging the criminals who provide him with the powders and pills that are wrecking his life.

One threatened to shoot out the windows of her 14th floor Los Angeles apartment after she demanded he stop selling to her troubled 21-year-old son, and another gave her a taste of his seedy dealing life as she hid in his bathroom.

In an exclusive National Enquirer interview, the actress recalls, "He said, 'Look, I'm trying to teach Redmond how to use this drug properly.'

"I said, 'Really? Are you?' I told him to take off his sweatshirt and there was his vein, calloused and festering.

"(Then) while he was making sales, I hid in the bathroom and took a syringe, his keys and his driver's license."

Fawcett admits her son and his father Ryan O'neal were incensed when they discovered the actress had taken measures to scare off Redmond's drug dealers.

She adds, "They both attacked me for going to the dealer's house. They said I was too confrontational."
