| After the stupendous success of Raajneeti, Katrina Kaif is all set to anchor a new innings as Bollywood's leading female star. For starters, she is playing the lead role in the remake of Seeta aur Geeta, the iconic double role that made Hema Malini a force to reckon with. A good test of Katrina's growing clout in tinsel town is how she is calling the shots today, when it comes to navigate her career. For instance, it is she who has decided that Anees Bazmee should be helming this project. Similarly, with Zoya Akhtar's Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Kaif is re-negotiating a meatier role in the multi-starrer. This has ruffled some feathers in the crew of this film because in the recent past Katrina has backed out of several movies, because the role was not substantial. These rejects include Anurag Basu's Silence, Shristi Arya's remake of Bride Wars and Anees Bazmee's Thank You. A source from the unit reveals, "In Zoya's film Katrina plays a seductress; the role is more about her looks than actual acting. After Raajneeti, she has received recognition for her acting skills rather than merely her Barbie Doll looks." The source continues, "The movie features Kalki.
