Urmila is not smart. It is so obvious that her husband is lying. If what he clamis to be true that Varsha was the one after him, then why didn't he ever tell his wife in the first place.

Urmilla is simply blinded by her love and that's that! However, Urmi will see the truth soon because she is smarter than she seems right now. If you guys recall when she was on vacation; she picked up the Ashwin's phone and it was Varsha several times. Although I don't think this will be a helpful point for Varsha, but I feel that if she recalls that and a few other pieces of the puzzle are put into place she will realize sooner than later what is going on. Even though Ashwin is the bad guy in this situation; he is playing his part very well. The way he stays calm simply adds to the fact that they're going to believe him.
