Only writing bcos I really like Sarathi, not for one reason, not for two but numerous which we all knw it well. Why don't we compare it with Ekta mai's serials, here we go:
Ekta-maai Serial: story mostly starts with two loving couple, so much in love with each other that they get married, their love is so true that they not only start quarrelling but also start doubting, blaming & not trusting each other which goes so much worse that makes them finally separate with divorced. [isn't true supposed to be trusting each other?] And next what, after separation, they're shown together so many times, remembering of past days together when later they're married to someone else.
Saarathi: in beginning Arjun didn't had feelings for Bhumi but also she kept her trust for him, make her love alive whereas Shefali failed to do so and lost Arjun. Then he never saw Shefali in that way when he realized she is her bhabi. Now Bhumi & Arjun is together & they're the sweetest couple I've ever seen.
Ekta-maai Serial: Too many character suddenly appears, too many stories in one serials, so much stretching, like one incident keeps on running more than one month. Serials starts with one line then goes to different phase, sometime the writer gets confused we must say. And guess what, all serials' writers are different then again all serials stories goes same way, what a coincidence!
Saarathi: definitely the combination to Mahabarat, really extra & interesting storyline which doesn't stretch much, very acceptable & totally unpredictable.
Ekta-maai Serial: family of one saas, sounds very good then suddenly turns evil to bahu, one decent bahu, who not can only control the business, nt only kitchen but also can control whole's families, bro, sis, bro's wife etc life. [great power]. One bahu with money minded, does anything for money N never changes her character beside her dress up, make up. One son or daughter that is not theirs, either mistakenly changed when they were babies, or adopted from another bahu etc. One party which keep on going everyday even there is a sad time too. One sickness "coma" when the character needs to keep quiet then even the dangerous death is easier to beat, the dead keeps on coming back. One couple so much in love that they get married, divorced, then again married to someone else then separated, so many marriages, do they even remember their anniversaries? All women don't get pregnant when they're with their husband bt right after the divorce she is found pregnant or before marriage. Wah wah!
Sarathi: ofcourse blunders are everywhere but at least Sarathi is far digestible, the character Lord Krishna is too good to watch, Suraj & manasvi fits their place so well, Arjun Bhumi are remarkable, dadaji, keshav, Arjun's dad n mom & of course mansen sides too are damm good. At least here they show even given chance bad turns well like Shefali is showing these days. Anyway Sharati rocks so well.
