Meghna's last performance on Indian Idol gave us a preview of her REAL talent which if you ask me was not exposed fully on this platform. After that performance how can poeple make statements like taht?

Tell me honestly how many negative comments Vishwas got and how many Meghna got right from the piano round?
I can easily say Indian Idol stage did not see the Real talent of Vishwas because I have heard him in SRGMP and I know what he is capable of.

Similiarly many poeple are against swaroop because he 'cannot sing Hindi song' which is ridiculous if you ask me. That is not part of this thread, but still people always want a male chocolate boy looks guy as winner, taht's troubling. like shivam fro example, or Yashraj. How are they great? yet because of their looks they get support😳

I have never supported Yashraj and I never will because I don't like his voice quality.
Coming to Shivam, if you visit his appreciation thread, most of the people there like his singing like I do. If looks were such an issue then no one beats Bhoomi or Tia in that regard. May be you came across some posts which made you write like that but I think most people here are only worried about one thing i.e. singing.

But on the other hand if a girl gtes support for her looks e.g. Tia it is riculed all over. no-one sees the hard work she is putting in to improve every week. Its the double standards which are very worrying.

There is no singer who does not do hard work. Yes the amount of hard work may differ. Tia may be the most hard working but that hard work is good for nothing if you don't perform on the day and that's what matters to public.

Agreed....👍🏼
Singing is all that matters and if a boy sings better than a girl, so be it....it should not be about gender.
And as Woh Ajnabee pointed out wisely....we should leave the past alone!!😆!!

Girls are not as good as the boys this time. That is something most of us feel. Bikes can be useful to the girls as well, they can give it to their brothers. As long as they win it, that matters. Because it is a recognition in front of the audience, that is the first person you should vote because he/she is the performer of the week.

From last idol, Bhavia was my favourite, she rightly deserved to be the Indian Idol because of her consistent performances instead of Sourbhee. But, in the present Idol, so far, none of the girls has been impressive.

I don't think anyone is biased towards the boys. Its all about singing good, I feel. So far, the performer of the week award is going to the correct contestants based on their performance in that particular week. So, I have no issues with it. All is well.
