How come no one from Remo's team ( DID1 / DID2) is in Skipper's team ?

Jay, Vrushali and Mayuresh are from Terence 's team and Amrita and Dharmesh are from Geeta's team......but no one from Remo's team ( season 1 or 2 ) is there !!

what do you guys think ?

simple, no one was qualified enough! I like Remo, don't get me wrong but I genuinely feel that no one from Remo's team qualifies to be a mentor! I think the trouble I had with Remo's team in entire season 2 is that none of the contestants in his team connected with me. they weren't popular enough AND they weren't good enough compared to other contestants. the only contestant I somewhat liked in Remo's team was Shashank bcz of his expertise in contemporary, other than him I don't think other contestants showed us any flawless or exceptional performances 🤔 I think his contestants never did justice to his choreography, or atleast according to me. I didn't even like Punit much from his team.

In comparison, if u look at the current skippers, Dharmesh is already a dance teacher and have made a mark for himself and he excels in the style he does, so he is perfect to be a skipper. Amrita is also a teacher and is a rlly good performer herself, she's lively, and connects with the audience and has great stage presence, and some of her contemporary performances have been FLAWLESS! so she is also qualified to be a mentor. Jai Kumar Nair also has his own dance academy and has experience of teaching kids before, plus he himself is a very good dancer and knows many different dance styles, so he is also qualified, Mayuresh & Vrushali, don't know much abt them but if they r chosen by ZEE then they must be qualified!

and they are trained by Terence so I'm expecting them to be good, and just by looking at the preview of next episode, I can tell that both Mayuresh & Vrushali deserve to be skippers!

peace, agreed for Remo's contestants of Season 2 , but how about Remo's contestants of Season 1 ?? Salman, Bhavana were pretty good. and definately qualified to be LM's Skippers.......... :)

Mayuresh, Vrushali and Jai - all of them are from DID 1 :)

PS: Also this is just a neutral question / observation, by no means I am trying to say that current Skippers are not good enough, I think they all are great !!

yeh theyre not qualified to be a master... see how Terence nutures his contestants they are well prepared to be a judge

but whts the most important thing here is tht they chose those who have experience in teachin kids... Dharmesh , Amrita and Jai have their own "dance institute" and Mayuresh and Vrushali don't but together they can do it =)

and as far as no remo's rangeeleys are there well yeah none of them this season have impressed me .. i think this season he didnt get such talented contestants like in season 1

and i guess they didnt get Salman, Bhawna ... cuz theyre not into choreographin while the others want to b a choreographer

This seems to be a very valid point why Salman and Bhavna are not in Skipper's list - they have the qualification and talent - but may not be interested in Choreography while others who are selected are into choreography or may interested in that direction - I agree 😊

well, Salman was the winner of season 1 and I feel it will be a little unfair if they get the winners to be the mentors, coz other contestants should also get a chance to prove themselves. Same goes with Shakti! I wouldn't want shakti to be a mentor coz she has already achieved so much. others should get some chance to show their talent too. and regarding other contestants from remo's team in season 1, I don't know much abt their backgrounds, but I know Prince is too young to be a mentor, he himself is 16 or 17 how will he handle other kids. that leaves us with 4 more contestants, well, there might be other reasons they were not chosen, it could be they don't want to be choreographers, or they don't have any experience of teaching kids before, or they don't know different dance styles, etc. 😊

😕 Dance skippers should be people who are dedicated to dance above all else.......seems like Salman is dedicated more to acting then to dancing......so I don't think he would make a good mentor.......and besides he hasn't done anything noteworthy since winning DID 1......I mean Jai at least opened up his dance academy, and D sir already had his academy set up prior to participating in DID 2.....Salman hasn't done anything in dance and/or acting since winning DID 1..........And the weird thing is people at large don't seem to miss him much either....I mean there doesn't seem to be an overwhelming clamor to see Salman on the big screen or even back on a television screen.........I think Zee has picked the right skippers...........

theres a difference in not doin and not publishin... the reason u know Jai has started an academy cuz wheneva he gets work the first thing he does is publish it .. and be like hey check me here dont forget to this etc etc ... and does salman do tht? nope thts why u think he's "disappeared" ... i just hope tht the project his workin on just cums up soon so ppl stop thinkin false news

Well there could be many reasons - we are trying to give our reasons what we think could have gone into the thought process of ZEE people -

First thing first, current choice of Skippers are no doubt great, not trying to deny that -
I was just curious about the fact that no one from Remo's team has been chosen for same ( be it Season 1 or Season 2 ) - and as I said there could be multiple reasons for same. couple of them being 1) not qualified enough 2) not interested in choreography

I was just giving a example of Salman as he was a pretty decent dancer from Season 1 from Remo's team, same for Bhavna...... or may be even Puneet from Season 2 ( however I could not connect to him much in season 2 - but I am sure there are other people who think he is a great dancer and was 2nd runner up ( popularity ) ) 😊

lol Ekta, I wouldn't hate on Jai if he publishes what he is doing. I would actually consider it very nice of him to keep his fans updated on what's going on with his life 😛 I understand that u r a big salman fan but u don't have to put down others to show Salman is better, both are good in their own ways. just saying...
