Manmohan Shetty's Adlabs Entertainment One is all set to take the big leap in production in association with Bobby Bedi. The two who had last come together for Ketan Mehta's THE RISING fell out due to business difference but have tied up once again for at least three big projects with huge budgets for which the scripts have already been finalized. The first of the films will be a mega project to be directed by Mani Ratnam, which will star Aamir Khan. According to Praveen Nischol, CEO, Adlabs Entertainment One, the tie-up is a major one that is likely to be extended for future projects as well. 'Mr Bedi is working out on the nittiy-grittes of the joint venture. The projects will take off as soon as he is through with the final plan of action. The film with Mani Ratnam is proposed to be the earliest one to go on the floors,' Nischol reveals.
Besides the tie-up with Bobby Bedi, Adlabs has also recently entered into a major tie-up with Ram Gopal Varma for 12 films, three of which SHIVA, SHABARI and SHOCK, have already been finalized. 'We also have a whole lot of directors on our list from Vipul Shah to Prakash Jha and others. We also have plans to get into in-house production. In fact, Adlabs will be the most happening place for production in the year 2007,' Nischol informs.
