Deepika Padukone, the sultry siren of bollywood, who made a great impact on the red carpet at Cannes in a traditional Sari, was there on the festival arena for just a day.
The sexy bombshell, had managed to capture the attention of many shutterbugs, and thus was a very popular name to reckon with in top fashion circles.
Now, what had she done at the premises of the coveted film festival? Well, for starters, she had attended the premiere of the French film 'Turnee', and then had been lucky enough to have met the Formula 1 Superstar, Michael Schumacher. After that, she had retired early.
The next day of hers was spread in sight seeing, and going by the various reports, the actor had gone to almost all the major landmark tourist spots that the place had to offer.
The star had become a bit nostalgic after visiting the various tourist spots. According to sources, she had remembered the time when she had visited the place for the first time. It was back in 2002, when she had stood in front of the Cannes venue, and vouched that someday, she would visit the premises as a guest of honor.
Her deepest wish had been granted this year, and she was as glad as a child to have her dream fulfilled, of attending the grand festival as a guest of honor, and what a visit it was!
