However horrible is Krishna's upbringing he seems more mature than Pratigya in assessing situation and circumstances except when it comes to Prats😕(cld be the multi-purpose expression that does it).

Having met the Sucksenas he became aware of the flaws in his family and hence the comparisons on so many occassions. He assessed Komal's behaviour, Aadarsh's nature and the Thakurs lifestyle and was quick to conclude that marrying Aadarsh is the best thing that cld ever happen to her.

He appreciates the positive things in the Sucksena family like them being literate, decent etc unlike them who can hardly see any good in him.

He is so innocent and to certain extent that he is slowly changing since he has fallen in love I guess that is why every one in family is irked by that. Isn't it taht exactly SS said 'Usse Ladki Ke Khatir Usne Is Ghar Main Sab Se Dushmaniye Le Li Hai'. So all his talk abt him not changing for anyone is null and viod it was just to pamper his ego.

Merarai well said knowing abt Kesars Preg was not his job he is not her husband. He is not an 'anteryami' to know that his Bhabi is pregnant by just looking at her. Lets no forget he is her BIL and most Indian rural soceities women tend to limit their interaction with the other men of the house.

Yes, if speaking literally he is not a mission but figuratively speaking he is on a mission with his so called biwi to change his family

@ merarai,
You may be right... we have to see how the story unfolds. But it is clear, from what Krishna has said so far, that he understands the world has changed, his family is living in an era of false pride, and brain power is more important than muscle power today.

Krishna might have married Pratigya not only because of love, but because he likes to get the benefit of being married to an educated person. He wants his sister to get the benefit as well... Krishna knows that even though his mom is not educated, she is very tez dimaag type and can be harsh (he doesn't know his mom can be evil). What he likes in Pratigya is that she is educated, but soft-spoken, cultured, respects people etc... so he may, without thinking consciously about it, have married her to bring about some change in his house.

Don't think Angad loves Pratigya. I am still catching up with the story but looks like he wants revenge because she slapped him for harassing her. Apologies if I got the details wrong.

Let's not forget he wanted a sherni too.😆 He may have seen Prats as the tough-cookie who can slap a guy for misbehaving yet can be cultured, is educated and comes from a sharif family. Two for one, he sees it as the whole package. He compliments her in areas she needs to grow. But so far we haven't seen much of the sherni. Abhi thak gahari neendh mei the? 😕

He talks to Komal about it with the family present while SS is trashing a room in the house. So yes, he does realize his home is a kaidhkhana and not a ghar . He also knows the Tacurse "jooti shaan se mar rahe hain", "makhan badi hone sey budhi badi nahi hoti"

You could be one of the posters who may be confused😕 with my posts😊. When I say Krishna is trying to change his family with Prats by his side, I don't mean that literarily that he has to know every detail of every issue beforehand and have her stand by his side holding his hand. It's written as a figure of speech meaning they support each other /work as a team to change the family from the inside out. . 😊

How would Krishna know when Kesar was pregnant in the past?😲 He is not her husband, just a brother-in-law.😆 If anyone should have known it was Amma, she has been there, done that when she had her three kids. Even when the maid said something about Kesar looking like she may have a bun in the oven, Amma didn't care to ask any questions and get to the heart of it.

I haven't seen Krishna force her to follow the rules. He only reiterated to her that she is expected to follow them and not interrupt the men when they have a convo. She's new to the family, so I see it as just a reminder of how things are done in the family. Let's not forget he's angry with her, so his voice reflects that.

very well said👏

yaar ...that one he said when he was angry with prat...if i am not wrong once when he was madly in love with her he said to her ' for the sake of you i have changed myself....'
