I was a bit disappointed with the Maha episode! Don't get me wrong...loooooved the first part where Pratigya reveals the truth in front of SS and absolutely loved the way SS reacted but one slap was a HUGE disappointment!! For a man who keeps kicking his wife for all kinds of things...I was expecting SS to beat the living daylights out of Shakti....one slap?? He has been wanting a grandchild desperately and to find out that his Shakti has been forcing his wife to keep aborting...not once, not twice but four times...seriously...ONE SLAP??
I really liked the way Krishna gave 100% credit to his wife. When Pratigya revealed that this was not the first time Kesar has been pregnant....Krishna's expression of shock said it all! He was shocked and disgusted!! SS and Krishna's expressions are absolutely amazing! Both of them speak volumes through their eyes. I was expecting a lot more from Ghanti daadi as well! Even when the promos for this track had started I was expecting Amma to get into trouble and Krishna pretty much said it all when he said..."Iss ghar main kyaa kyaa ho rahaa hai?" All Guniya wants to do is control her bahu's and she has no clue what is happening in her household!! Her elder bahu has had 4 abortions and this woman is clueless! I really wanted SS to question Guniya about all this. It seems the maid knows more of what is happening in the household than the Thakuraain!
Ok...now Komal is turning out be a REAL PAIN!! What is her problem? Earlier I used to zone out whenever any scenes involving the Saxena household were shown. When Komal came into the picture...I felt...wow..some excitement in the Saxena household. Now...I zone out when Komal comes on screen. Why can't Shyam Saxena raise his voice at her?? I am not saying that Komal deserves a slap (well she does) but why are Nainaji and Shyamu being so nice to her? They should ignore her and let her stay in that room forever! When SS came into the house with all that food (was there really such a need to dedicate so much air time to the veg-non veg debate??) Shyam Saxena should have opened his mouth and returned fire on SS! When SS suggested that Adarsh and Komal should move out Shyamu should have suggested that Krishna and Pratigya should move out as well. I think its high time Shyamu household should start playing the same games. Why can't Shyamu and Adarsh go the Thakur household with 2-3 tiffin carriers for Pratigya? Well...first things first...Shyamu needs to give Pratigya a mobile phone...Komal has one and she maked good use of it every day!
I feel Adarsh has made the biggest boo boo of his life by marrying Komal. He married her to keep the thakur family in line but it seems like Komal and the thakur family are keeping the Saxena family in line. Pratigya has enough troubles of her own and now Adarsh by marrying Komal has planted a Thakur mole in his family. Komal listens to everything that is being said in this house (Daadi and Aarushi make it a point to be loud when they are going on and on about the jaahils) and Komal in turn calls her mother and spills the beans plus mirch masala.
Back to Kriya...I don't know when we'll get to see some tenderness between the two. I find myself watching the older episodes (before they got married) because I miss that confident, bindaas Krishna. Now days Krishna is always irritable and moody and I hate seeing him this way. He is always stopping Pratigya mid sentence and has no patience to listen to her and his constant reminders of a womans place is really annoying. After everything that happened yesterday I was expecting Krishna to talk to Pratigya and say something nice....after all I am sure he has realized that Pratigya was trying to ask him for help and he was just plain stubborn!
I know this is a loooong post...so thank you so much for reading. I just feel like there used so much more excitement in the episodes before the wedding and I hope and hope that the CV's bring that back.
