Limitwaa, loveanime and anchal, and Divya this is dedicated to u. haven't written an analysis for a long time so I hope I haven lost my touch. I've managed to catch up with this weeks episodes and I'm only going to comment on a few select scenes because number one I don't want to bore you and number two I don't think my fingers can cope with a lengthy essay lol
I must say this weeks episodes have been a joy to watch and im glad other characters have been given a few lines here and there too.
I loved the first scene of Monday's episode, it is so obvious Krishna cant bear pratigya's tears and unhappiness, he really wanted to console her but decided not to because of his kasam from the SR episode'what I don't get is why pratigya didn't like him ignoring her, isn't that what she wanted? It was as if she wanted him to ask her why she was crying, im sure if he had asked and she had told him the reason he would have argued with everyone at home to take her to the pooja, but alas he didn't ask her and I think she was a bit hurt by his attitude. What I didn't like was his reasoning behind ignoring her, he keeps on going on about thakur ka khoon and aukaat, what aukaat is he talking about? It seems like he still thinks women are paire ki jhooti and is waiting for the day she goes running to him...why does he find it so hard to understand her point of view, its all about him and his needs urghhhhhhhhhh!!!!!
Is it just me or does Komal seem really threatened by Roli's presence? The daadi and naina seemed impressed by komal welcoming Roli but it was soo obvious that it was forced and there was a hint of sarcasm in her voice which I think adarsh detected straight away. Im glad arushi took roli inside, the tone of komals voice was very annoying.
I know everyone goes on about how they don't understand why pratigya performs her wifely duties when she claims to hate Krishna, but I actually like her setting out his clothes and bringing him tea, it shows that she has accepted him as her husband and that is a big thing. I felt it was very childish of Krishna to ignore the clothes on the bed and choose another set of clothes and pratigya seemed visibly upset by this action of his. I liked how she gave him his tea and told him to taste the sugar..correct me if im wrong but I think this is the first time she's ever initiated any type of conversation with him willingly, its just a shame she is trying now when he is intent on giving her the cold shoulder, it is so obvious she is missing the attention. What is it with ammaji, why does she always assume pratigya is the cause for Krishna going out, when she asked if he was going out to get something for his madam ji why didn't he tell her that he wasn't, he didn't clear her misunderstanding, he just said he had important work, uff, one more reason to burst on pratigya
Krishna is truly a fearless sher, I loved the style in which he walked towards Angad and his chamchas, he was so sure of himself. Angad tried to smash his head with a bottle but Krishna avoided the attack and took the hit on his arm'it didn't seems to cause him any pain and I loved how he kicked angad. I hated the disrespect Angad was showing Krishna, chandu and tunwa, he was acting as if Krishna was a nobody and I really wanted to swipe that smirk off his face'he even called tunwa Krishna ka kutta I liked how Krishna maintained his composure and went on to warn him against thinking about arushi. Now u guys probably think angad was spewing a lot of rubbish but I think he brought up some very good points. When Krishna saw pratigya he was infatuated by her and did everything he could to make her his regardless of whether it was right or wrong, he didn't even stop for a minute to think that she was someone's daughter/ sister or fianc, he just jumped in the deep end and got pratigya by any means. He didn't see anything wrong in his actions but now when angad is doing the same thing he thinks it is wrong, talk about double standards. What makes it right for him and wrong for angad? I think that statement from angad made him feel bad slightly because he couldn't maintain eye contact with him and looked at the ground briefly. The more angad spoke the more irritated he seemed to get, he actually glared at Angad for taking pratigya's name lol. I hated when angad tried to compare himself with Krishna, angad is bad through and through whereas Krishna actually has a conscience. Im not one for physical violence but im glad these two fought, angad was in dire need for a beating. As expected our hero won the fight yay'angad is a sneaky rat, I cant believe he tried to stab our baba, only cowards strike from behind and angad proved he is the lowest of the low'im glad him and his chamcha's got beaten to a pulp.
I know kesar has lived her whole married life as a doormat but is it really necessary for her to encourage pratigya to let go of her family, she kept on going on about how women are goats/lambs, and that they are tied up from one place to another (referring to the maayka and sasural). Im glad pratigya told her out right that she wasn't willing to forget her family and im glad she got up to phone her mum. I feel pratigya is slowly but surly making a niche for herself in the zoo. She seems to be opening up and becoming her bold usual self'I liked how she took charge and phoned her mum, kesar advised her to wait for Krishna before she phoned but why should she? She shouldn't have to rely on anyone, that too to phone her own mum, and I don't understand ammaji's problem. Just because she cut all contact off with her family doesn't mean pratigya should do the same. Komal phones her parents up and the saxenas say nothing, infact it makes ammaji's day when she gets to talk to her daughter so why cant she spare a thought to pratigya and naina, naina too wants to be able to speak to her daughter then why the objection when it comes to the pratigya and naina, ammaji is a hypocrite.
Even daadi was showing her disapproval towards the MIL but ammaji just turned around and started to argue with daadi. How does this woman expect respect from her daughter in law when she herself disrespects her MIL, im sure if ss was there he would have beaten her upL I liked how pratigya put her case across, but ammaji seems to be stone hearted, she didn't melt one bit. Daadi seemed really impressed and gave her the go ahead to phone her mum. Ammaji has serious ego issues, why was she spewing so much venom after pratigya put the phone down, she was needlessly trying to put pratigya in "her place" and showing her who the boss was, pratigya looked bored and I'm glad she walked away without saying anything, no one should waste their breath on that witch!!!
Again Krishna and his posse stole the show outside the saxena's, I liked his intention of taking angad and his chamcha's to apologise to the saxena's but I didn't like how he went about doing it. I hated how he made a public spectacle outside the house, granted he wanted everyone to know they couldn't get away from messing with his sasural but was it really necessary to call everyone out and present a bleeding trio. The saxenas are very simple people and they abhor maar peet so why did Krishna have to cement their opinion of him being a gunda. The saxena's kept angads intentions hidden from arushi so as not to scare her but Krishna in avertedly exposed everything to her, imagine how scared she must have been when she saw angad and his chamcha's, I felt bad for her when she was trying to hide behind her father.
Krishna seemed visibly shocked at not being invited for the pooja and he seemed upset at pratigya being absent too. Komal feigned innocence when he asked her why she forgot him. I kind of felt let down by komal here, it was her who asked her mum not to let pratigya come and here she was playing the innocence act, I expected more from her. Im glad daadi put him straight and told him that both pratigya and SS knew about the pooja, that seemed to get him thinking.
3 cheers to arushi, she rocked. I know many of you think she was wrong in disrespecting Krishna but I actually felt it was necessary for her to say what she said. She remained silent throughout the hungama outside the house and she even remained silent when he came inside and questioned everyone on why he and pratigya weren't invited to the pooja. I know he wants to be apart of the family but was it really necessary for him to say he would look for a nice guy for arushi? Arushi doesn't know Krishna well, she has only seen him stalk her sister and defame the family, she has never seen the compassionate side of Krishna hence thinks he is a gunda. Come on lets face it, which respectable family would want anything to do with the thakurs? The only guys he would have a choice from are thakurs and they are all male chauvinist 🤬what arushi said was right, he would find someone like himself, someone uneducated who thinks women are good for nothing but bearing children and cooking and cleaning. Pratigya's life isn't great, she can't even phone her family and I'm glad arushi voiced her dissatisfaction with the treatment against her sister. I know it hurt him and I felt bad for him when he said her words hurt him more than the knife wound but beta the truth hurts, its just a shame he wasn't open minded enough to reflect on her words and see where he went wrong. Another reason im glad arushi spoke up when she did is because Krishna is a man who acts on his words and if she remained silent, he would have begun his search for a groom as soon as he left the saxena house.
It really pained me to see Krishna in so much pain when he walked to his room, he was sweating and out of breath. Pratigya was shocked at seeing him in that condition and her nurturing side came out. I loved how she was trying to help him , her concern spoke volumes. She truly is a unique character, she has been through soo much because of Krishna, yet here he is in pain and she is by his side trying to ease his pain, her hatred came second to his pain, kudos to her. I didn't like how Krishna was acting like a two year old and was refusing her help, so she refused to sleep with him and says she hates him, big deal. She is there for him when it matters the most, why can't he see that and accept her help? I liked pratigya persistence; she hovered around him and encouraged him to go to the doctors. As expected Krishna refused to go to the doctors, but deep down he must have felt bad seeing her distress because he actually asked her to get him some hot oil and haldi and deep down I think he knew she wanted to be of use to him. I didn't like how he called her eh, what happened to calling her pratigya?
I liked the scene where pratigya was in the kitchen heating up water and mixing the oil and haldi, her nervousness and worry was depicted really well, and she did well to avoid piyasia's probing questions. It was very sweet of her to try to take charge and clean krishna's wound, but Krishna is as stubborn as they come, he stopped her and talked about her nafrat for him'he said something along the lines of "yeh sab karke tumri nafrat to kum nahin hojaygi" again it was all about him, lets say the roles were reversed and pratigya was hurt, he wouldn't sit by and see her tend to her own wound, he would argue until he was blue in the face and end up tending to her himself so what exactly is his problem? why can he accept that she wants to help him?'people don't just help people because they love them but because of humanity, its in most peoples nature to help people who need it, why does everything end up with love and hate with him?
Pratigya couldn't bear to see Krishna in pain and was squirming a lot, she insisted on him seeing a doctor but yet again baba refused. I think he felt bad and in his own way was assuring her he was fine when he said it was a small wound and he would be fine after sleeping. It was sweet of her to take his shoes off, put a blanket on him and wipe his sweat with her pallu. She took good care of him but I was disappointed when she left it at just that, she should have called the doctor or at least sat by him holding his hand. She seemed very concerned when he wasn't waking up in the morning and I loved how she ran outside for help, pooja did very well in depicting pratigya's anxiety.
My heart went out to SS, I don't think he's ever felt so helpless before, he was frantic and soo worried. Im not going to comment on Ammaji, the less said the better!! Im glad Krishna is up and back to his usual self, I don't think anyone would be able to see him confined to his bed.
Im looking forward to next weeks episodes, I want to see pratigya take a stand and fight for kesars child without krishna's help.
Sorry for any grammar or spelling mistakes, its just gone midnight and I'm knackered.
