Throw out the old things so you can make space for the new ones....

This is this Week's message from Mahi Way.

I kind of disagree because I do believe that old is gold, mostly atleast. I'm one of those people who still a whole lot of my dolls/toys from childhood... my teddy bears, books all the stuff that I don't really use anymore, but I just cannot throw them away. I just can't.

And this certainly cannot be applied to relationships. We do make new friends but not at the expense of old ones. Friends are not like clothes that you can have today but don't see any use of tomorrow so you throw them away?

I was disappointed to see Mahi ignoring Sid. She herself said that she doesn't need Sid, Roshni, or even Sid... She's all about Dev these days, I'm sure she's in for a real lesson.

What do you all think? Purana bahar, naya andar? Or Naya andar = Yes Purana bahar = NO!?

me too!! I keep my old things! books, clothes, presents! Then once upon a year I realize I need places for new stuff so either I throw them away, give them away or put them in a storage place.

She went too far with the message. My mom is so used living in the past or keeping old things that she rarely enjoys the present or looks toward the future. I think it's always important get rid of somethings (not people) if the people are not important and holding us back then move on from those people but not the way mahi is doing it.

thats a very silly concept, one should always introduce new things in life, but simply forget old ones...
i dont think so,if something has really hurt you forgetting that thing is ok
but if it has something to teach you, tell you or make you a better person
or for the fact that its something very close to you,you must remeber it
i found mahi completely ignoring sid kinda rude, atleast go and say Hi......
and upar se the way shes going all over that writer guy made me feel...EEWWW~!!!!

but i think as we grow older, we must keep our surrounding or environment more mature, no?
i mean its good and dandy to have your old stuff there with you but isnt that hoarding? not wanting to throw stuff out? i just think change is good besides my senator and now president said so! lol
and sometimes you just have to make new friends cause your friends wont ditch you or give someone else credit say if you had a hand in their success. </3 my dil brokeded it when sid gave shiv credit for his sucess.

^ I agree to an extent, sometimes it becomes necessary to get rid of some old things.. But I for some reason can't pull myself to do that. I'll put them away in a closet or something, but I just can't throw them away. Reason = I've so many memories with them. Throwing them away seems to me like throwing away a part of my childhood... And I just can't do that.

Anyway, as far as people who've hurt you, yes, it's important to push them out of your life so you can move on with yours. But not Sid and Shiv, right? They have always supported her in her rough times and now that she has that Dev she is ready to completely forget them?

I was sad to see Sid not giving credit to Mahi too. After all, he met Shiv because of her. But Sid was mad too.... and such misunderstandings happen between friends but that doesn't mean you throw them out of your life na?

in her case, her friends hurted her...rosh went decided to show shiv what can her tongue do and sidh blatantly ignored her on his big day...
i think there comes a time when we must throw our old crap to make room for more beautiful memories/stuff. thats imho
