War between masters, not contestants?

In a competition, supposedly, a competitor competes. Not the teacher of the competitor. Its really sad but true, the masters are becoming overly-defensive to secure his/her contestant's win. And nothings wrong with it until you start criticizing other contestants for it...

For example, today, though most of u won't like to think like me, the spark of jealousy could be seen on Terence's face(Read on before u decide to declare me as a Terence hater, I am a BIG BIG fan of Terence, he IS the best master in DID)...Amar's exit has severely affected Terence and now Shakti's constantly coming 2nd. This is soo not fair. Dharmesh was the BEST in today's epi. He was exceptional...that one audition-dance, we were dying to see it. But how easily Terence knocked it off.

And not only Terence, ALL THREE masters have some point of time shown jealousy and greed and defensiveness by criticizing other contestants for no reason...

This has seriously become a war between them instead of contestants. It was soo good to see Dharmesh and Shakti hi-fi each other with a smiling face.

While people said that having the teachers/mentors as judges can be advantageous, this is the disadvantage we have encountered...

If there were three judges who have NO connection to contestants, then there would be some fair judging.

For example, in DIDLM next time, Sandip and Farah(we have Mithunda right now but what heck we need some someone technical)...

I just feel this way, you can agree or disagree...

And I just want one favor from all...Please stop this Terence vs. Geeta & Dharmesh vs. Shakti war. Its last week lets leave with peace.

Either Shakti wins or Dharmesh, we're not gonna get anything so no need for arguments. We come to I-F looking for some relaxation but my head literally pains when I see whats going on(and I can't help but participate 😆 )

I guess as you are a Dharmesh fan you feel bad about any negative comments towards Dharmesh and are therefore accusing Terrence of being jealous of Dharmesh. I dont its right to say that you 'saw' a spark of jealous on Terrence's face. That is all in how you are perceiving it. I was thinking exactly the same point as Terrence before he even said it.

Also another point, you mentioned you were dying to see Dharmesh's tryout performance and thats why you feel he was the best today. I loved that performace of his too, more than any of the other contestants tryout performances in fact. But why did he REPEAT that performance?That is the only performance that he has been exceptionally applauded for and so he chose to rely on something that was applauded instead of show something new for which he may have been taking a risk. And this is what Terrence meant. We've already seen that performance...show us something new! That performance has created so much hype that people are voting for him based on that ONE performance when other contestants have constantly been giving good performances and are being overshadowed over.

But I do agree with you that theenvironment has become too competitive and in my opinion. Geeta takes things too personally. Ive seen Remo and Terrence admit the flaws in their own contestants performances but i have yet to see Geeta admit her contestant has flawed. Of course all masters are partial towards their contestants, but if a contestant makes a mistake they should at least not be in denial about it.

All said and done, why argue over things like these? Everyone has their favorite and all the contestants have worked hard to reach where they are. And there is a life beyond this show. Winning or losing doesnt mean anything so I wish them all a bright future ahead and look forward to some innocent fun in Little Masters 😊

But one thing, I haven't seen ANY master admit technical faults in their contestants yet...Yes if suppose Terence says to Punit that this was wrong and feet wasn't pointed, then Remo will say, "Yes terence sir ne sahi pakda lekin yeh chhoti chotti cheeze chalti rehti hain"

I hope we don't arise with same situation in Li'l masters 😛

I know you are a Dharmesh fan and I'm going to say all this in the most positive manner possible! I'm staying as neutral as I possibly can! All three masters are at different levels. All of them are excellent at what they do, otherwise they wouldn't be choreographers in the first place & neither would they be judging Dance India Dance! Just because Terence Sir made a negative remark about Dharmesh's performance, does not mean that it was because of jealousy! A lot was edited out in the US, so I don't know what entirely happened. I saw Geeta Ma'am attacking Terence Sir when he commented on Dharmesh's performance! Look, I personally enjoyed Dharmesh's performance. I thought the concept was def unique and brilliant. But at the same time we as the audience wanted to see something different, something in another form. Especially because this was the last performance on the stage! Come on now! We all know that no matter what masters are always going to be biased towards their own contestants! That's just human nature! But if there is anyone on that DID platform that has tried to avoid being biased towards their own team, that person has to be Terence Sir! If his contestant was weak, he will say that he/she was weak! I've noticed that! And even Remo Sir is good about that too! But again its human nature to support your own contestants! Amar's exit was the most painful elimination for all of us because 1) he was a very deserving contestant that def didn't deserve to leave 2) coming this close to the grand finale and knowing that you are a better dancer is painful. Amar did not deserve to leave. He was one of the strongest contestants that was left in DID. So I certainly feel the pain of Terence Sir! Especially when you lose such a deserving contestant at such a time! Today's performance just left such a deep mark and impact on everyone! It was so emotional! I know you are a Dharmesh fan, so you're going to praise him no matter what. Again I said Dharmesh did have a good performance today. I thoroughly enjoyed it! But as far as the best is concerned, I'm not so sure about that! I think Shakti & Amar had the best performances today, while Binny was the weakest! Please don't say that its jealously just because a master did not like a performance overall. I'm pretty positive that the masters know more about the technicalities of dance than we do! And I'm pretty sure whatever Terence sir said was only for Dharmesh's well being! But what Geeta Ma'am said about criticism just totally pissed me off! Because that's not the way to act, I'm sorry to say! This is a competition! At the end there is only going to be one winner! These finalists should already consider themselves a winner! And the masters should just really start working together! Its a shame that this all has to happen! Although I highly think everything is pretty much scripted anyways! Even all these arguments/fights! I don't know. Just please don't accuse Terence Sir of "jealously" because that's just not right! Sorry Mihir, I don't want to offend you in any way. And I respect yours too! And I'm not saying you're wrong, yaar! I just don't feel its right to say that he is jealous only based on the fact that he said negative things about Dharmesh. He was right with whatever he said. If anyone disappointed me today it was Geeta Ma'am! 👎🏼 This season I'm just not happy with her! She's doing all she can in favor of her contestants, with no respect to the others! I'm not attacking her, simply stating the facts and what I believe! And I think if there is a "war between the masters" the root of the cause is Geeta Ma'am alone!

I didn't find any "sparks" of jealousy.. in Terence's face.

I think it is psychological, and human nature. We see what we want to see. i am dharmesh Fan, and i too saw terrence's frustration in that comments. ...Not only me- all Dharmesh supporters felt so. It is just an anger- an emotion- coz we love D-Sir. I am sure Shakti fans feel the same when others criticize her...It is human nature- god has made us that way!!!
