It's February and the season of film awards is still on. Since the month of January, many film award ceremonies have been hosted by some big names. But one award function which is the oldest is Filmfare. The magazine Filmfare has been conducting the awards since 1953 and now it has become an invincible brand today.
Getting a Filmfare Award is the dream of every person who enters Bollywood. It's like a prestige and an ultimate symbol of honor. While there are so many out there who wish that they could win at least one award, there are some film personalities who have been bagging Filmfare trophy whenever nominated.
Among directors Bimal Roy who has won maximum number of Filmfare Awards (7 awards) till date. But looking at the competitive side, we found that Sanjay Leela Bhansali is the only director till date who has won awards for all the nominations he got in the Director's category. He is the only director having 100% nomination to winning ratio for his films Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Devdas. If seen logically, this is a very big achievement which shows the potential he's got. Even for 2005 awards, he has the brilliant Black in the nomination list and we hope that this director manages to maintain this record of his and strike a hat trick at winning.
