This girl is a trendsetter alright. Be it for her tress or dress — she's a fashionista. It was visible post Love Aaj Kal, when her cool and casual kurtis became a fashion statement.

And all desis from New Delhi to New York flaunted her kurti style. This summer, it's Deepika Padukone's new haircut that's become the hottest crop in salons around town. Her new look in Karthik Calling Kathik, styled by Farhan Akhtar's hair stylist wife, Adhuna, has become a rage, and everyone wants to don that look. In fact, a lot of Adhuna's clientele have been demanding the KCK hairdo to blend in with the summer styles. Hmm... even we are wondering, hairdo... or not to do?

Deepika carries off various outfits very well. And with a figure like hers, you can't really go wrong. Me so jealous!

shes alrite...im mean she dresses well n stuff and has a gorgeous face but i dunt think she has a distinctive style of her own to make her a trendsetter.....style is mainly abt attitude and confidence which i find in Kareena, sonam, lara, bipasha, even twinkle khanna and the likes...deepika's lovely looking but trendsetter? ....nahh not so much...thts wht i feel atleast.

She's not a trendsetter, far from it. She is actually pretty clueless when it comes to personal style. She should be thankful to Adhuna for cutting and styling her horsetail of a hair into something more suitable for her face. And I would hardly credit Deepika for this hairstyle. Adhuna's hairstyles have revolutionized the look of Indian youth since 2001 when she first gave Aamir, Akshaye, Priety those distinctive cuts in DCH.

It's a layered look, how is that trendsetting? I had seen tons of people have that hairstyles before this whole KCK. Also kurti is like a tunic right, and those have been in fashion for a very long time now.

I disagree. I liked her hairstyle during OSO days but now not even close to trendsetter.
