Harry Potter is being used to help kids improve their general knowledge in a new book which explores the stuff mentioned in the novels and films.
The book - called The Potter Pensieve: Trivial Delights From The World Of Harry Potter - is not connected to JK Rowling or film producers Warner Bros.

Instead, it has been put together by 15-year-old Potter fan Lewis Constable and his mum, Karen Farrington.

The 200-page book covers everything from fossils to recipes.

Karen said: "I wanted to take children outside the world of Harry Potter and extend their knowledge of the real world."

Potter fans will know that the new book takes its name from a bowl in which thoughts and ideas are put.

Other topics covered include the difference between a ghost and a poltergeist and how tawny owls communicate.

The sixth Potter book is being published in July.
