On another note, I'm kinda angry with Armaan for leaving Ridz even though his reason was noble, it was selfish. HE couldn't see Ridz suffer so HE decided she would be better off without him. But look at what losing him did to her - it completely destroyed her to when she became a cold cruel person and then she collapsed emotionally to becoming the weak and broken soul Sid married. Although his intentions were honorable, I think Armaan should've let Ridz decide... it's her choice, her life and it could have been a lot better if he was in it...mental or stable.

No offence but 18th century ideals? Isn't that what all or atleast most SR fans are using as a reason for SR union? Marriage and being tied to a sacred relationship- isn't this what is being presented here for SR? No divorce and developing love for someone who has done a lot for you or holding your hand in the time of trouble? These are the same ideals which regulate a LOT of our society today! and if being selfish and thinking for your loved one is LOVE, im proud of it! Armaan couldn't see the love of his life in pain and didn't want Riddhima to bear the burden of handling a mentally unstable person so he decided to move away from her life. He's only back because of her love! The love that she showed when Armaan forgot her
