in dmg all which happened after ridz return FROM FIRST MEET WITH SID TO MARRYING HIM is acceptable...but ridz feeling towards sid is just not done........if they would have showed that she is burdened with SID SO CALLED EHSHAN( WHICH I DONT UDERSTAND).....and she just wanted to give him happiness if she could not have that.. for aLL that sid has done for her.........AND ARMAAN WILL BE ALWAYS BE THERE WITH HER.......they could added a dialogue here ................MAI MAR TO USI DIN GAYI THI JIS DIN TUMSE ALAG HUI.........KISI AUR KE NAAM KA SINDOOR APNI MAANG ME BHARA.............AAJ JO SID KI PATNI HAI WO TUMHARI BASKET NHI ARMAN ..........DR SHASHANK GUPTA KI BETI HAI DR. i agree she got forced to get married to someone else thats alrite she no option for that but forgetting armaan's love in just like a month and also calling others or talking to other people n blaming armaan for leaving is total WRONG he didnt leave her, she knew the truth about him now its her turn to show how much she loves armaan

Those eternal love stories that you used in your example are just that, STORIES. If you spend enough time with someone you can develop feelings for them especially considering what Sid has done for Ridz, it would take a cold-hearted person to not feel ANYTHING. She herself has said that she doesn't love him but does have feelings for him.

On the other hand, I really dispute the use of the stories you've mentioned like Romeo-Juliet etc cos they are from a time that was centuries before ours and it would be a shame to use such examples for a modern 21st century show. And honestly, if DMG was like those 18th century plays I'd stop watching it for the utter nonsense and unrealistic ideals presented. Time heals everything, and people do move on to an extent, it's human nature.

On another note, I'm kinda angry with Armaan for leaving Ridz even though his reason was noble, it was selfish. HE couldn't see Ridz suffer so HE decided she would be better off without him. But look at what losing him did to her - it completely destroyed her to when she became a cold cruel person and then she collapsed emotionally to becoming the weak and broken soul Sid married. Although his intentions were honorable, I think Armaan should've let Ridz decide... it's her choice, her life and it could have been a lot better if he was in it...mental or stable.

No offence but 18th century ideals? Isn't that what all or atleast most SR fans are using as a reason for SR union? Marriage and being tied to a sacred relationship- isn't this what is being presented here for SR? No divorce and developing love for someone who has done a lot for you or holding your hand in the time of trouble? These are the same ideals which regulate a LOT of our society today! Societal pressure, values, perceptions, characters all realte to that era. And if being selfish and thinking for your loved one is LOVE, im proud of it! Armaan couldn't see the love of his life in pain and didn't want Riddhima to bear the burden of handling a mentally unstable person so he decided to move away from her life. He's only back because of her love! The love that she showed when Armaan forgot her

amazing post ( u always come up with rational posts😉) @bold- I completely agree with u . Now he has become 'alright' after seeing her at panchagni. Then why didnt he allow her to be with him as soon as he knew he had this "incurable disease( outrageous I say🤣..these cvs bhi na😆). Nowadays sid sounds more mature and reasonable as he is ready to allow ridz to take decisions without influencing her in any way😊

Marriage and divorce are not 18th century ideals. I am disappointed that most people on here think that it is old fashioned to stick to a marriage. No it isn't especially when both parties involved are falling in love with each other (SR). Zero compatibility, cheating, abuse etc are valid reasons for divorce. The return of an ex-lover my friend is not. And no, I have nothing against what Armaan did for Ridhimma. That's his personal way of loving her and that is noble too but let's not just dismiss marriage and say it's 18th century to believe in a wonderful marriage such as SRs.
